Supersonic
OK guys what do you pay? I've just paid £14.95 per 50. It's jumped up again but I'm quite happy to pay this as it's my local shop and I'm all for supporting my village businesses in the current climate. Goldfish
I've started to use my .223 instead as I can load it for the same price as buying hmr ammo. £14.95 is 30p a shot Edited April 12, 2009 by Goldfish
Guest topshot_2k
I've started to use my .223 instead as I can load it for the same price as buying hmr ammo. 14.95 is 30p a shot i dont get this fuss about HMR ammo, even at 30p a shot its cheap, shotgun carts are 19p+ a shot. I pay £9 a box of 50 HMR bullets which is 18p a shot.
Guest topshot_2k
sorry to hijack the thread but i,ve never really liked the 20g anybody else use them and like them? Yes is use them a lot more now and really like them, accurate and hit hard, especially on foxes
Goldfish
Its more to do with the hmrs limitations due to weather conditions, range and target animal size. If your paying high prices for ammo you can get a more versatile caliber and reload for the same cost but if you are after a 100m+ rabbit gun without the fuss of reloading then this is the only choice.
