Always had a good experience with the MET, and well worth praising. Great stuff, although you did already post this before, and it was moved to General Shooting Matters- so link is above. Thanks

Why that's a vibrant aquamarine! Only a shape shifting lizard would not be able to see that clearly! Roger wilco -noted - will try for red.
  3. Very unlikely, the police view these things as civil matters. If they do write anything down, it'll be crumpled on a piece of paper and flicked into the recycle bin. They will say speak to trading standards, speak to action fraud and speak to whoever you made payment with. If they even do that.

This is to protect against shape shifting lizards, who are feared to have infiltrated the membership. Seriously though, which/where do you mean?

Is this on the mobile/tablet? If so I can see what you mean! Will get onto that asap.

It has, there has been a series of patches and security enhancements released and to apply them it also required an update of the appearance. This is the default version, we usually do make some small adjustments from this to suit the site. I know changes to the layout are seldom popular, so please bear with us, it was not of our own choosing.
  7. Looks like it may be offline, not sure how long, or if permanent?
  8. Thanks everyone who ordered, I think payment already all received!! Really appreciate the swift turnaround and hope you really enjoy the lamb! I think that could be it for 2020 actually as I've had had a restaurant snaffle up a lot from my next batch. But if I do have some will post on here. Many thanks again for the support 👍😎
  9. Good news, well deserved in a tough market to get it
  10. Sorry only just seen this - no, I'm afraid not. We only have sheep on the farm (and a few hens, a dachshund and some guinea pigs). Thanks everyone for your orders, I've got your address details saved from the last time, so will be shipping them all out tomorrow for delivery thursday! This time the butcher has made burgers from some of the mince, just a bit different from the sausages
  11. Fab thanks so much lads! Will be sending messages on Sunday as just away for 24hrs thanks so much!! 👍
  12. Sold quite a lot of these on PW now, (many thanks everyone!). Last week I sent in another batch of lambs, they will be hung a week at the butchers and I will pick them up and ship Wednesday (2nd Sept) for delivery Thursday (3rd Sept). These are rare-breed Barbados Blackbelly sheep. As a slower growing breed, they are lot leaner than most commercial sheep. A half lamb box weighs around 6kg so it works out around £12/kg, with a half lamb box at £75 and a whole lamb box at £145 including parcelforce delivery to your home. They will be packed with icepacks and wool insulation, to keep them chilled and are cut to the spec below. These lambs are a little smaller than the ones I would usually send, so you may get an extra cut to make up the weight to give an average lamb box weight of 6kg and 12kg for whole. If you live locally (Trowbridge, Wilts) I can offer non-contact delivery, and save on parcelforce fee etc. Whole shoulders on bone Legs halved on bone Loin Chops Rack french trim Breast - mince + lamb burgers This will be my second last batch of lambs for 2020, after that it will be early 2021 😊 when the May born lambs are ready- thanks!
  13. I don't think we do sing from the same hymn sheet Steve. I certainly don't think there should be carte blanche for control whatever where-ever, for the reasons in the previous post. Shooting has got itself into a right mess because of poor practice, and that scrutiny will only get more intense. The ST is a weak publication these days (imo), but its tag line certainly used to be: "The wildlife of today is not ours to dispose of as we please. We have it in trust. We must account for it to those who come after." Wildlife doesn't just refer to game and songbirds.
  14. I'm not sure I understand the OP's post either...
  15. Hey, it doesn't get a better review than that! Might have to put that on the farm facebook! lol
  16. Thanks everyone! Almost sold out, I just have one whole lamb box left if anyone fancies it, will be taking them to the courier depot tomorrow lunchtime for delivery Thursday. So if you want drop me a PM with address and mobile number. Otherwise it's going with another one in my freezer, well a few cuts likely go on the bbq with the forecast for the weekend 😎 Thanks, Will

  20. That's very impressive indeed, I didn't know that. Sounds as though any youngsters would have had a chance. Have seen some young pheasants I've seen a few times at about 3-4 weeks age, always amazes me how "wild" (I'm sure the hens here are released) pheasants despite being small feather up and fly from such a young age. The reared brethren are fairly useless in comparison!

Thanks @Sako7mm you are first in line, just waiting to hear from one person. Hopefully they will get back to me soon. Thanks again everyone
  22. Forgot to update. So... ran a rake of dogs through the field, and walked it out as best could. Nothing flushed at all, mowers then came in as we were finishing. Guessing whatever was in their either juked down or hopefully moved on ahead and into the hedges. Saw a few pheasants come out once the field was cut. Also shot 3 foxes on it. Just got they hay in the barn in time with the weather breaking the following evening. Fairly average yield of hay, but good quality for the time of year, with the May drought the sward was a lot younger than you'd expect for the time of year.

    New coat.

I've not been in the stores for a couple of weeks but Mole Valley Farmers had a 40% sale on clothing, it doesn't seem to be there online. But I got a Ridgeline torrent 3 jacket for under £65 including the VAT. Worth a call to a store if you have one local. They also had 40% off some of their welly range, but weren't many left.
