This year is my first proper year. Last year I only had five beds cleared and planted. Have managed to get about three quarters of the plot cleared and planted up this year.The new potatoes are doing really well but need them up shortly to get my leeks in there place. Salad is thriving. Courgettes have just started producing along with the broad beans, peas just filling out and sweet as. Have also pulled a few beetroot, turnips and carrots, carrots that taste carroty, whats all that about.

I keep trying spiced rums but haven't found one that I can get away with yet. The nearest I have found is "Krakken" , Morgans and sailor jerrys have too much vanilla in for my taste. Lambs spiced is just plain horrible. A lovely rum for mixing is Angostura single barrel, especially with coke. As for sipping rums, El Dorado 12,15 and 21 year old take some beating, along with Diplomatico Reserva Especial and Ron Zacapa Solera are all mighty fine.

Understand the first sentence and last sentence completely. Could you explain the middle one in basic terms, preferably using words of one syllable that a complete technophobe can follow. My comments about DNS and IP address numbers must have mislead you into thinking I know a little about this stuff.

I have a dead spot with my home wifi in one downstairs room, it just happens to be where the Mrs likes to sit and use her ipad. The router is upstairs, but I have a second wall connection in the said room. I have moved the router to that room and tried it and it works fine, but then the kids dont get a good connection. I thought i would be able to simply add a second wifi router on the same system and fix the issue, but of course nothing is that simple. The second router i have is the same as my original a Netgear superhub. The IP Address shows the same as does the subnet and router numbers. The DNS number is different though. Does any tech minded amongst you know if this could be done?

Used to live round the corner for 15 years, it stood empty for years before someone took it on to renovate. If memory serves it sold then for about 20K. The owner ran out of money and the renovation stalled and it stood empty for years again. They done a good job when it was taken on again, not sure of the sale price that time. Keith, I used to dig bait on the other side of the pier and put a couple of pots in, being careful to keep an eye on any divers that where about!

I don't know about gun shops, but there is a butcher who does the best haggis.

Hi guys, My springer bitch is expecting her first and probably last litter next week. Im just testing the interest level from fellow PW members before I advertise further affield. Both parents are owned by me. Both KC registered. Bitch has both Rytex and Badgercourt bloodline with twenty plus FTCH's on her side. Bitch is a shorter stockier type. Stud is taller and leaner. Pups will be registered, docked and dew clawed. If they are a cross between both parents they will be cracking dogs. He fetches all day and she hunts at the flick of a switch but is quiet and placid at home. I will be asking £350 for dogs and £425 for bitches. Photos of parents and pups ( when they arrive) will be sent on request Cheers Phill

Got a decent deal off Amazon recently, from eurocarparts shop. saved over £30 from buying direct from Eurocarparts. £73 for a 85 110 Bosch. Have look on Eurocarparts website, put your reg in to find which battery fits then check on Amazon. Free delivery aswell. Hope this helps

Well said. My son has the condition. Reading some of the narrow minded opinions of some on here beggars belief.

I was on watch one night on a ship in the Gulf. It was gorgeous night so I was sat out on the bridge wing enjoying the big stary sky. Couldn,t agree more. Got an Edwin Jagger DE 89 after reading the thread on here, along with a selection of blades of the bay. Love it. Am just managing to control the impulse to buy a Merkur to compare. But love the DE 89.

I tried the Captain Morgans Special Reserve this year in the States. It is a very nice Rum if a little sweet for my taste, but lovely none the less. Infact for $18 in Walmart I had to bring a bottle back. The Diplomatico Reserva is on my Bucket list
