  1. well i got a few to try out having got my lee loading gear for the .243 and a lot of help off bob300w i set about loading a few up to try i know you cant use lead cast bullets at high velocitys so i found a site with the load data for using lead bullets heres the link http://www.leverguns.com/articles/paco/small_charges.htm just wondering if anyone else has used cast bullets i havent used the amount of powder listed ive went a few grains under

  4. mmm maybe the neck of the case is getting into the barrel making them a tight fit maybe you should check the case length and trim to size maybe ask bob300w he seems pretty good on stuff like that

  6. well i have just bought the lee kit i ordered the hand press and a set of deluxe dies for the 243 hopefully will be here soon
  7. well i ordered the hand press (as wife wont be pleased if i bolted one to the kitchen table or bench) i already have the scales and powder measure also ordered the deluxe dies aswell im pretty sure il be odering more stuff as time goes on aswell but i guess it will get me started for now i got around 500 cases aswell which should last me a while aswell and also a fair few cast bullets with gas checks aswell to practice with so looks like il be having fun rolling my own as they say
  8. well just ordered the gear for reloading .243`s from henrykranks yesterday and the gear should be here in a couple of days ok its the lee stuff but should be ok at least it will save me having to pay nearly 20 quid a box for .243 so looks like il be having a bit fun setting the dies up as ive never used this kind of stuff before so fingers crossed all should be ok (i hope) it will aslo save me a fortune aswell

  11. hello all well just bought a realtree camo net not had chance to use it yet and was wondering if anyone else uses them ive never used camo nets before so this is a first for me when i get the chance to use it it looks good and made well

  15. that a strange one i never needed a mentor or a letter off anyone saying that i have used one of certain caliber i got the .22 and a .243 and was never asked anything like that
  16. well could be just a build up of dirt in side the mechanism or maybe an worn trigger sear or an worn spring maybe time to check it over maybe a trip to gunsmith to service it

  23. maybe try using old fishing rods for the booms to fix the deecs on to maybe pick them up at car boot fairs for a couple of quid i did see some in poundland shops but they were only 6feet long not sure if they would be any good for for a quid a peice guess maybe worth a go just a thought all the same
