  1. just for the hell of it try this ,and be honest ,post your results. count the "F's" in the following text FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS . how honest are you :yp: martin had to edit :*) i cant even spell last year i couldnt spell engineer now i are one
  2. :yp: F.M. your missing the point though gas is only 36 cents a litre here (approx 22 pence) refuling is ok ,and if gas gets to high big G.W.BUSH will invade and steal the stuff anyway martin
  3. rather than open the file, have you tried right click and save as,then open ? just a thought martin
  4. have to agree with AP here point of aim seems to be your problem, maybe cureable with a stock alteration (the simple and cheap fix ) or if it dont work dont tie into it ,dont be afraid to change the gun , ive had to many shooters who cannot get into the gun or shoulder right ,where the gun they have doesnt fit , but rather than listen and admit the obvious they pursue a lost cause ,earning all the bad habbits of incorrect gunfit, remember one thing , a gun that dont fit and shoot for you may as well be a fence post ,find a gun that shoots well for you and keep it ,if poss find a second and shelf it,as to your last comment , you may find the difference in the 2 guns may be as much as say 1/4" over 24" work that over 30yds and you are another 11.25" higher big dif eh!! anyway my two cents worth ,hope your friend finds a solution to the problem. martin
  5. when are all you little island dwellers gonna understand there is only one offroad vehicle worth the coin http://www.hummer.com/ :( the one and only hummer ,doubles as a nice school bus for all you who live out in the wilds like ,,,,,,,,,,, kings lynn , llannelli ,st germans ,or yorkshire, lot of mole hills in yorkshire i hear ,need something strong to get up em, cant figure out all the fuss over a landy ,like a mechano set with solid tires go get a real offroader  ask any yank :(
  6. having whatched a lot of coverage of 911,it still scares the **** out of you to think it was that easy for the terrorists to do that kind of damage that fast ,the last show i seen was of the 8 (total ) fighter pilots on stand-by as interceptors ,not one got within 178 miles of a plane prior to impact , i think now there are over 180 on stand-by ,it also told of the 4,800 + aircraft flying over the us ,brought down in 3 hours, hats of to the controllers for that one, i dont know if its all true but did any of you listen to the cell phone conversations with the passengers of the flight 93 that crashed outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania, such a tragic waste of life. i for one hope it never happens again,be it a conspiracy or not martin
  7. still waiting for an international version dont care if its made of tin ,brass ,cloth ,kevlar, depleted uranium, weapons grade plutonium,,,,, i want one so any closer to finalising the deal on manufacture, like the sound of PIGEON WATCH INTERNATIONAL PIGEON WATCH THE COMMONWEALTH COUNTRY getting a little ansy now need to shoot something
  8. well said there jim,i must admit it the respect that i was taught from my parents seems to be lacking in the youth of today . and before all you younger pups start chomping at the bit ,i will add that its probably the lack of disapline that my generation instilled in our kids, that is the fault of all of us ,and i take my share of the blame . i remember walking down the street as a youth and moving into the road to let an elder pass through , "respect" nowadays ive seen many a door closed in the face ,heard many an insult to a slower moving older person in a line up stugling with shoping or bags or whatever, and many an older person pushed out of the way ,how many times do you hear of an old couple beaten and or mugged for a few bucks in the purse . makes you sick dont it . my grandmother (mums mum) was the last of my GP'S when i came home from canada the last year she had gone into a home ,unfortunatly unable to cope herself , i took my 2 boys to visit for probably the last time ,we sat and talked about times gone by ,when she suddenly asked me how i was doing in work ?? i told her fine and jokingly offered her a job as a cleaner when she got out ,she sat quietly for a while ,which i took as being tired, then asked me what bus she should take to get to my shop here in edmonton alberta canada, and how long was the ride got to say i laughed and cried at the same time , love you gran where ever you are now xxxxx. sorry to go on ,but to reiterate what jimd said once they're gone they're gone. good on you jimd. god bless , martin

  10. you'da thunk with all the technocalogicalyidealisticaltalented people old bill gates has got working for him ,he'd have dam well got it right by now , then poor old LB wont have to get so agravated online martin
  11. when you put it that way LB your right ,i also have spent many nights listening to the tales of an old warrior ,went by the name "ron gapper" served on HMS FEARLESS an old salt with many a heart-wrenching story, so i can see your point as well i guess we've all become a little complacent over the years, and without the sacrifice of many, we wouldnt be here talking with this amount of freedom now, so i say "LEST WE FORGET" martin
  12. mmmmmmmm could have sworn thats what i said
  13. i recall a story of a Gurkha regiment given the honour of a parachute jump ,in front of the queen ,from around 10,000 ft apparently one of the nco's approached the english officer and asked if they could jump from 5,000 feet instead as the chance's of survival were higher ,after some deliberation it became apparent that the Gurkha regiments have not ever jumped and didnt know they could have a chute to jump with they had no problem with 5,000 feet though gutsy little blighters ,i dont know how much truth is in the story but i can beleive it from other accounts of there heroism, no prob with citienship from this corner
  14. have to agree with P.M. they have a habit off coming free and spraying everything i'll stick with the snap of the neck tech its worked for me well enough, of course all the top dogs dont have that prob ,they shoot em cold in the sky . martin

  18. as i recall ,her legs were insured for a million bucks at the time of the show, against cuts or brusing or damage, whod want to damage those pins
  19. i have to agree with cran, we as responsilbe shooters/hunters more so under the heading of country sportsmen , should not have to bow to the general veiw of the public that all gun owners are crazy iresponsible people, unfortunatly the old saying "nobody remembers the good you do ,but they never forget the bad "is still hanging around . i make a point of telling everyone here i shoot and i am proud of it ,not all people agree with me and i respect their opinion as i hope they do of me ,i take people from all walks of life shooting so they can see for themselves how enjoyable it can be , they can then make a honest and informed opinion themselves without the ignorant bias ingrained by the media and anti gun people. at the moment i have a shoot organised for 7 companies here in town i deal with i am taking them to my range for a clay shoot ,with pro help on hand we will take 35 non shooting people through 100 targets and feed them after ,better than a round of golf. i can only say to you all promote your sport to anyone else with the passion you have for it yourself . have a great season guys martin
