I wouldnt even know where to start in thanking everyone that contributed to this blumming hangover, i cant remember the last time i have gone for a meal. must be 10 years. Nick thank you so much for all you have done and to be able to cook it without the ingredients that mess me up. your a star. there is a lot of us out there that cant go out for a meal due to the wheat and milk problems so you might have hit on something there. Thanks to all you guys for making an unbearable week more bearable. it was very very much needed. i'm going to stop typing now...... I LOVE MOLES thanks again to everyone. All the best Phil.

we have found one but at £41 a pup seems a bit steep considering the one vet charges £10 a pup.

Got a bit of a problem. the vet we use for tail docking is on holiday, pups came a little early. 5 cocker pups. we have phoned a few vets but they dont want to know. can anyone help please. we use Mr hunter in stroud but not around for 2 weeks and they have no one to fill in. pups are 2 days old so need ASAP. and vet took emergency time out so we are in trouble. thanks guys for any help offered Phil

Just a quick but big thanks to NJC. He took me under his wing and has helped me no end. i have been shooting with him a fair bit but only a few time have we had a stalk. i have a little bit of stalking but its hard work. he had been coming over and trying to find where the deer are hanging out as well as showing me the rope and guiding me in the right direction. he cam over last night/evening and tried to call a roe in but only a munty came to have a shout at us but didnt show its self for a shot. i was up at 4 this morning, 2 hours sleep and 2 hours trying to be asleep so i gave up and went for a walk around to see what i could find. only one roe but i dont have the rifle for roe so i didnt go stalking it so back home by 8am. went and bought a buttolo today as well as my idle-back chair (only for pigeon shooting). this evening i went for a slow walk and a bit of a call and ended up in the same place as we were last night with the munty. i sat and called for a while, rested then started again. half hour later and my god!! talk about running at me, i crapped myself as the muntjac wasn't going to stop until i slapped it with the butt of the rifle or so i thought, anyway, it did stop about 3 yards away. the rifle was already pointing towards the munty and was up on the long bipod so it was only a case of dropping the head onto the stock. the munty offered me a shot so i took it with a .222 tikka T3. it dropped then got up and ran 20 yards and ran in circles before dropping. On opening up i must have clipped the shoulder as it was smashed to bits, heart and lungs were just mush. Talk about over the moon. my first deer, only a muntjac but we all start somewhere i guess and it was solo. wish it wasn't as i had to carry the wee beastie all the way back to the truck. Anyway. NJC thank you mate, there are few people around that have the patience to put up with me and my ways so a big thanks to you for helping me and guiding me in the right direction for me to take my first deer. Thank you. been a long day so my apologies if i'm rambling again. All the best Phil.

out of intrest.... ...what time this kicking off at and where. bearing in mind i get lost when trying to go to the toilet. probably the reason i smell of wee all the time. or is that just an age thing..

I must say, it is rather nice. im a tiny little bit jelous over the condition to tell the truth. the wood is rosewood capped and mint. it what im after but in 6.5x55 at the moment. have to wait so see if the FLO will do their part and allow me to pay £26 rather than have to sell two items to open two slots. NJC, are we there yet?
-
but will there be anything in the dish or will you be eating it on the way
-
I will give the £2 but not answer questions. i get to many of them from er that must be obeyed. I have some Chamomile gin here as well that is well brewed if anyone wished to sample some. i have about 2 liters. my summer fruit vodka and sloe gin is staying here though sorry gents. cherry brandy will not be ready in time......shame.haha Phil.

Which gun/pellets to use for Pigeon problem in my garden
activeviii replied to pigeonpaul's topic in Airgunners
Good shout Chris.. To the OP. just because birds are messing on your decking it does not give the right for anyone to shoot them. you need to download the general licence then read and understand it or you may find you get yourself in a spot of bother. a gentleman shot a pigeon in his garden not so long ago and ended up in hot water for it.
