    Artexer

Anyone know of an artexer in the Gloucester area please. Clean and tidy worker, that will not keep letting me down and not turning up. Only been waiting 6 weeks now. Ceiling has **** artex on so needs a skim. As the rest of the house is good, with artex it needs to be artexed to be in keeping. Skim. Coat. Artex. 13.5²m. There is coming up already. Got an idea on cost but need some one who can come and do job as I can't now. Thanks Phil
  3. Lol mike. You would have had to get in line as there was 4 others in front of you lol.
  4. Sold. Sorry redgum, I held it as long as I could. Might have another one with duplex coming up later. Just need to decided which way I'm going with target rifle.
  5. As peeps keep asking me to email photos I thought easier to put in here. I hope the photos will show the odd rub on the sticky out bits and the nu!best needed. Someone asked if I would go lower the £450. In a word, no! Leupold vx3, second hand for under £500 posted. Best of luck. Lol. It's £450 plus postage. Sat on the shelf for 7 months so not in a rush to sell. If you want it. Bank transfer of paypal plus the 4% fees. Better still come get it. Thank for looking gents. All best Phil
  6. Keep an eye in the free mags for a kitchen. Bases for storage and it top are good it will save £40 a leanght at b&q
  7. Supermarkets ho!e shopping is great. Not paying for a bag so we do bagless shop. As we have dogs we can't just pit it on the floor so we take the baskets one at a time and put it away. Pees the driver off but if they will not leave me the baskets for me to put my pigeons in the chiller then what can I do.
  8. I'm looking. For a beater, maybe two, with dog would be ideal. It's a small diy shoot. Very easy walking but can be a bit of a slog at times. Woodland and hedgerows. About 10 days total. I shoot the vermin for the land owner so asked if I can sort the beaters out again. Small bird days so very little left at end of season but I do try to pull a day off him as a bit of a thanks to the beating team. Location is just of M5 junction 14
  9. Not in Gloucestershire as they removing the condition of FAC. Everything has to be named under the conditions. Are redgum says, they like .30cal. I have them on the 308. I like the idea of them in the woods especially Huntley as its all managed woodland so makes it easier to keeping paths clear but they don't know the boundary and end up licking up the salts on side of roads.
  10. Thanks redgum. It's only £450 for a bit of a billy bargain. Scope is a gold ring so lifetime cover. 30mm tube.
  11. I was about to ask the same thing. Ingested in others thoughts
  12. Never had a problem when phoning. I don't tend to email people I don't know as mail does end up in a junk filter.
  13. As above. Sat on top the shelf so might as well be in the bank. Hunter varmint reticle. Can't remember if there's a box but might be one. Willing to let it go for £450 if buyer what's to meet up or pay for recorded delivery of around £12 Not in a rush to lower the price as I think this is a bargain at £450. Gloucestershire area. Thanks Phil
  14. £20 either way from the RFD I use. Others have tried to pull the wool but I do not use them for anything now. Others are going the same way
  15. You need a lockable box, like your shotgun cabinet for your ammo. Just needs to be safe and on the fabric of the building. It dosent need to be next to the gun safe, can be anywhere. Only needed for ammo. It's advisable to put the bolt and magazines in with the ammo but not needed. All my bolts stay in rifles as I don't want them knocked aboits or going out with wrong bolt. Been there, done it.
  16. You don't need instruction, you sold them else where for £17 a set lol
  17. Delux set is normally a four piece set in the square box. Full length Neck Seating Crimp
  18. Just a spanner that came to mind reading all this. They want to ban lead because a plant might draw up toxin's that might get into our food chain. Considering most of UK food is imported how does this work. It's said that food would need to be taken over a long time. UK climate produces seasonal foods. This issue with birds, who's to say that the bird picked up the shot in this country. Same goes for the birds that are found with lead shot in the bodies. Who's to say they had been shot at in the UK. To me its just antis trying to find angles to ban the sport. Make it hard, nibble away until It's all banned.
  19. I load 308 in sub sonic. 1020fps. At 100 meters I group at 1 inch. Bullets are ppu fmj 174grIn and loaded backwards. Reason is not to help part energy but to aid stabilisation. At low speeds you need a good tail on the bullet. Took me a long time to get it to shoot well, and loading is not easy to load. With a 150gn hunting load zeroes at 100 meters I get 16" drop with the subsonic loading. I have shot rabbits with them and it smashes the pants of them. Not shot for yet but I would have no issues doing it as I know it put it down on the spotter. Noise wise, its not that quite. There is a good crack from them when up against a wood but very usable. Next one I want to do is the 6.5se
  20. Over the years I have used and abused all sorts. Of late I'm trying to brake the gold makita ones and so far I'm impressed. I think some of it is all in the way you use the tool to. Putting the pressure on at the right time to stop the bit jumping out when removing the screw.
  21. This, with video is on Facebook. They were trying to find some junk paper that would listen to publish it. Looks like they found one.
  22. Don't bother cutting slabs. Go get your self a roll of brick damp proof course and tack under the last row of shiplap. Rain will run down, over the DPM and off into garden. Easier than trying to cut slabs
  23. Dry oil, something like Teflon spray. I have microslick painted mine so never need the oils now.
