This thread still running.lol. I took someone else out today. not the best of starts. late to field. birds not where i thought they would be. but still, 75 pigeons picked, a dozen in the field behind, 5 feral and 4 crows. to finish the day i took him on a quick flight on the ducks.. i had 3 cracking birds with one being on oxygen. shame he struggled but i gave him the birds to take home so hopefully he will be happy with that. thats me done for a week now, i have two deer hanging and chiller is full of birds so i have to get my act together and tidy up before i get out again. birthday on Monday so i think a week to get over the shock of getting old is in much need. -
Batteries are charges and trucks loading. When we off boss?

Whats to say that the young lad had insurance, maybe he didnt what to report it for that reason. lol

first into the chiller to drop their temperature then slowly add to the freezers. then once i have two loaded freezers and a loaded chiller i then load truck and go to game dealer. I cant stand the taste of flying rats. i would rather suck a sweaty sock.

I have just sat down after spending 3 hours trying to get all the sticky balls out the cockers coats. I spent 4 hours the day before looking for birds. found them in 3 different areas but this place i chose had a large unshot group of birds feeding all summer, only shot at on other areas. shame it was one hell of a walk to get to where we needed to be. I don't like setting up on a badger set bet that should have been were we set up. Im keen, but not that keen, stinking pigs. where i decided was wind, what little there was, would be coming from left to right. i changed the pattern about 6 times to just try and get the birds to decoy a little tighter but they just didn't what to do it. Thunderbirds second time on pigeons. first time was not good with one very jealous old man shooting at us. another story for another day. My hat of to TB, 10 good left rights, many birds had oxygen masks on. a lot of carts used but he got into the swing of it in the end. 133 birds shot but as TB said, a few over the fields behind, cut off but a stream. Right that's 3 of you taken out on the pigeons with 385+ birds shot. I just have to try and get one other person out to experience pigeon shooting. Henderson's, get your butt over here and shoot some birds. Anyway, your more than welcome TB, good company again always make for a better day. I might try shooting some myself one day.lol -
Pets at home sell them. as dog chews. £10 each.... ...4" piece :o

ask for 'All Other Lawfal' it will cover you for smaller deer species.

separate set of tinted and coated "reactolight" ones for driving and shooting. Aren't there UV reactive? dose not windscreens have a UV coating? Friend needed glasses, same as you, told he needed this that and the other. got his new glasses, reactolite. got in the car only to find they didn't work because of the coating on the screen. needless to say he was straight back to 'BOGOF' group asking for a full refund.

I hope you have concrete block on you FAC. or is it 'All Other Lawful Quarry' LAMO. We shoot bricks and blocks and all they do is explode into bits. i have a block range in the garden. its quite surprising how much damage the 22ld down to a concrete block. the bullet always just falls into the trap with never had an issue. I do like the bigger calibre's but they dont like me. no sure thing as overkill, as i see it, dead is dead, you can only kill something once.hehe. Shame you always seam to be singled out John, i do like watching the video's

No problem Brown sauce. a pleasure, i'm always happy to help and pass on the small amount i have learnt onto others. I have two others to try and get out as well, Thunderbird and Hendersons.

Sorry i should have said the bulb colours of the switches. when you turn your lights on then the glow is blue or orange. i have a spare orange that i rebuilt. they are easy to do. check the bulb whilst you have it all stripped as it makes it easier to replace.

Watch out for the fuel pump seal, have a look in the paperwork to see if its been replaced. if it not been serviced at a mitz garage then register it as there could be a recall or two on it just before the mot, a bottle of 40 in the tank and floor it to blow all the **** out of it, they dont like the light foot, they coke up real bad. milnar off road for the service kits and do it every 9 months or so. look after and it will do the same for you. Mine is still running sweet, goes everywhere, dogs fit in back but i have taken the 6-7th seat out to give more room. POCUK.co.uk see you at frampton if your there. is your mirror switch blue or orange. I have an orange one that i have rebuilt if you need.

Very wet start to the day. the odd bird came in between the very heavy rain that the morning gave us but last afternoon the sun tried to come out and the pigeons sort of came for a look. Wind was left to right and sun was high left so not he best place to be but 40 yards off the flight line and where the birds had been for a few days. It shot ok in the end even if some of the birds where fast crossing but thats pigeon shooting for you, if it was easy then we would soon get bored. hour and half drive for Brown Sauce him so I'm just glad the i could get a few birds to play for him. 71 Picked up but a few lost behind and then we had the 'Hard' birds that come with bullet proof vests that Brown Sauce gave 3 shots of 32-6 at and they still fly on. Well done Brown Sauce, Some very good shooting there. hope you enjoyed All the best Phil.

Well done TB, about time you chased that FAC up. I need room in my cabinet.lol. I had a Raynard this morning as well. 5am, on a hill with the 6.5x55. I have never seen to many crows leave the roost so quick. To say it was rather loud would be an understatement.hehe. -
dont flush it... ...job done.

Don't you start. I got band from a gun shop for bragging.lol

been using a brolly for years. it makes you learn to decoy your birds to the pattern and not just fly by for a look. watch out for the pole as most as shiny silver so you need to cover it up. try not to use a heavy fabric or you end up with a very dark area that the birds dont seam to like. a lighter fabric will allow the light in better. i sit to shoot so its easier for me to sit under the brolly. 181 from under the brolly last Saturday.
