he drinks the blood of impatient little boys. I put in to add a 6.5 to my fac only took 4 months and that was hassling them after 2 weeks. Bobs a gud un but i also get on well with Mr wilkinson and Mr spice but NJC is on first name terms with Mr Spice, they are bestist friends dont you know. Nick, i thought you was sorted, it takes around 3 years after your interview by the way. -

check out bredon hill shooting supplies. i bought mine, not the reversible one, about 4 years ago. i see they have a sale on them, £89.95 go look at them. I'll speak to you tomorrow if you remind me

could be something as simple as factory ammo. i dont know many 22lrs that will shoot a group out to 100 and beyond.

i use range bags. fill with rape seed, rice, sand even pollyballs. works well for me. I have tried bipods, rifles rests and free hand, i use the bipob for off the truck, rifle rest for cleaning and maintenance but always the bags for range work.

no idea, but it worked a treat on the brass.hehe

HAHA!! We do try to tell him but he must tinker It will only fall on deaf ears. this in NJC we are talking about. he cant leave anything alone. Sorry thats a lie, he doesn't keep a rifle long enough to worry about leaving it alone. haha! -
Which 28g 7.5 cartridges for pigeons
activeviii replied to Cosd's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
Nobel sport or simi. both in fibre, 28g 7.5. keep the distances real and the birds will drop. For a 6-30/32 i would be setting decoys out at 30 meters. for the 7.5-28 i set at 25 meters. its only 5 meters but it seams to work for me. -
Sorry to drag this sort of post up again but today i had a little play around. I use to use white vinegar, fairy and water then bicarb and a rinse in plain water. look at the photos. they have all been on the press and then trimmed. some i have stripped as bad loading and then have been cleaned before. some have had the sooty necks hand cleaned in the past so dont shot as much blackening as others. the photos show. 1/ from the box 2/ cleaned in water only 3/ Clagon 4/ Citric acid the citric acid cleaned but a pinkie hue about the brass. i'm told this is not a good thing the Calgon cleaned the brass well but what i didnt expect was the it showed up the knackered brass better. there was no pinkie hue and the brass didnt look as pale as it did when cleaned with Citric acid. Citric Acid Calgon Citric at top and Clagon underneath The Calgon was the tablet that you put in the washing machine to stop the lime scale. well at least this is what im told you do with them. I just crushed the tablet and then added 1 litre of warm water. I did 480 sec clean and then did a few more but it made no real differance. i did wash in hot clean water after. I think i will be looking for more free samples of Calgon What do you all think, Am I going mad? All the best Phil

Harkila GTX 8" for me as well. I have also got on well with Columbia boots but they are a little heavier.

Nice one Terry. Fox warrior fish chair is what i use. I only stand when i need a pee. You get use to shooting from sitting plus i think it makes you think more on your decoy pattern as you want he birds in front and not just flying past looking.
