    Chilles

Good crop of apache, from 3 plants I will probably have 2-3 years worth of chillies, I also planted 2 lemon drop chillies one was very vigorous but kept shedding leaves for no apparent reason unless it was over watering the other was weedy and I didn't repot but it's been fine and produced plenty of less hot citrus flavoured peppers. This was the second or third crop.
  2. Got lots of rod building gear from him this year
  3. So he takes the Eastern oblasts rather than the northern...no, doesn't work. Stop being an apologist for a tyrant.
  4. ...but back in the real world, I wonder if the authorities (Sweden probably as it's their area and they have the subs capable to search) will be able to find remnants of what caused the damage? Obviously the gas needs to stop or be minimally leaking. Of course after that we can shout about it was "them" or "false flag" until blue in the face, but I also wonder if the magician is doing something else whilst we are looking intently at bubbles in the baltic?
  5. While waiting for a joiner to turn up I have been wandering around the tinterweb. I think we have a winner here... Makes you think eh?
  6. Seems to be common among recent POTUS'
  7. Done something similar in the slow cooker, very nice.
  8. The pipeline is huge and filled with gas, it's at the bottom of the Baltic sea. It will bubble until the pipeline fills with water.
  9. Ah, MSN...go stand in the corner and think about what you have done 👉
  10. IIRC Russia, sorry Putin...no I mean Gazprom, closed Nord stream earlier in the month for maintenance so the only gas in the pipeline is lost and that must mean it was Ukraine. Strange that it was just outside of Denmark's territorial waters
  11. Lots of conspiracy theorists here today, perhaps they have infiltrated the UK? <Flying pig emoji here>
  12. HERE'S A LINK FOR THE DEFINITION OF CIVIL WAR Instead of looking for a get out clause for Putin, have a think about what you are saying. Putin never said that he was sending troops in to a civil war, he tried and failed to go straight for the centre of government, his fall back was to give the veneer that it is about disputed ideas of sovereignty.
  13. Unfortunately they are/can be like that this time of year usually because of moulting. Blowtorch it moving the torch about and wipe off with kitchen roll.
  14. Which half? Top, bottom, left, right, front, back?
  15. Indeed, however it works out nicely for us as by the time the winter properly bites our log burner will be up and running
  16. I like to take people on face value but the quotes are straight out of the conspiracy theorists handbook and when added to the use of yootube it all adds up. Unfortunately nothing anyone says here will convince you, so it's pointless anyone trying to give you a different view.
  17. Pretty much how I read it. We dropped our DD well down even though they said not too because we could spread the cost over the winter by paying more now. As it happens we have around £120 excess ATM and when in October we get the first of the money off our DD which now means we will only be paying @ £12 a month and the excess will slowly be eaten up through the winter.
  18. Another would be that for 8 years there has been a destabilising of the democratically elected government helped along by Russia. If Russia wanted to take on the areas then they should have entered into talks and looked at a referendum years ago however they decided to go for the whole pie and not just a slice. Now we are back to referendums as a face saver for Putin. What diplomacy do you mean?
  19. Don't know if it has been covered here but I believe that if you don't have a smart meter you need to take a reading preferably on Friday but a day or two either way will do. So that you aren't charged at a higher rate for what you haven't used. I believe that it is a good idea for those with a meter to do it too, just in case.
  20. If it was about the Donbas then why did Russia invade elsewhere? If it was about it then they would have invaded from there and job done. The whole thing is a sham.
  21. No. You need a liner or solid fuel chimney, we are putting one in soon and originally it was an open fire, so has a solid chimney, then someone put in a gas fire, and now we are putting in a multi fuel stove and a flue. Your main concern, that I can see, will be getting the gas pipe removed and capped as we also had to do that. Secondly, depending on the stove you either need a full depth hearth (6" iirc) or 12mm iirc. Then it's distance to combustible and how big an opening in your fireplace will determine which stove. Edit*** Forget the above. For houses without chimney click on THIS I found this site to be invaluable, hope it helps.
  22. *** what's wrong with you? Some people in Scotland want independence, they were defeated.
