  1. Sorry it's taken so long but not got a computer at home then couldn't find the software to connect my phone to my pc at work to download the pics. £40 collected or £45 posted. Collected comes with 2 x 7ah batteries. The spikes at the end I made to hold the birds on but not actually tested in the field. Ben
  2. Lightweight pigeon magnet. £40 + £10 p+p O.V.N.O Ben
  3. Last time I went paintballing it was my stag do. Best man and I did a stag run but luckily managed to keep clothes on bloody hurt at that range. I had a nice row of bruises across my back for a while after that. Ben
  4. No probs ive I get it sometimes on even a fast connection if it's a big pdf or the site you are getting it from is slow. Glad to help. Ben
  5. When you view them are you downloading them to your pc or just clicking on a web link? If you are clicking on a web link as you read through it adobe reader will download the pages if you have a slow net connection or other problems getting them this will leave you with a blank screen. Try right clicking on one and selecting "save as" or "save target" and downloading it to your my documents folder. Once it's downloaded select the option to open the file or go in to your my documents folder and double click on the pdf file. Ben
  6. Some hot local bitch in heat maybe? Ben

    Computer help!

Once you installed it and assuming it all boots up ok with no warning errors or anything else then click on the start button, then go to settings, control panel, double click on system, at the bottom you should see it telling you how much memory is now in your laptop. This may not be the full amount that you just installed because some may be in use for video memory but don't worry. Someone earlier reffered to your pagefile don't worry about that windows will be set to manage it automatically for you and for most people that is fine. Ben
  8. When I had my visit he didn't expect me to have a cabinet allready even though I allready did because if you don't get passed then you'll have wasted money on one. However I doubt they will make another visit after it's been issued just because you inform them you've purchased a shotgun. Obviously when it's time for renewal in 5 years time they'll expect to see your security arangements. Ben
  9. I think most of my problems with my bettinsoli not always firing the second barrel are mainly my own. Other than that has been a good gun so far cost me something like £400'ish for fixed choke 1/4 and 1/2 and has seen lots of pigeons and rabbits. Being a lefty I didn't have much secondhand choice so I went for the betti as it was quite straight stocked and had it adjusted. Ben
  10. What's a 1.77? do you mean a .17hmr? Ben
  11. As has just been said above the whole wall between you and your neighbour should be block work it's just that you can see it in the loft as there is no plasterboard facing it. Otherwise a strong couple of battern or better still steel straps screwed horizontaly between 2 studs and then your cabinet fixed to the metal strap would be strong enough. Ben
  12. 20ex25 first go. Ben 25ex25 after about 2 dozen tries. Ben
  13. Sand it down and spray it black with some bbq paint Ben

Presume thats 512mb then not 512gb Ben
  15. Really? The type of security has never been specified as far as I know but we tend to use cabinets as they satisfy the need to secure our guns. Ben
  16. You can get daily disposable torics but they only cover up to a certain level of astigmatism. I tried monthlies and couldn't get on with them, had no problems getting them in on eye but the other one was such a pain I gave up in the end. Basically a toric lens is heavier one side so that as you blink that ends up at the bottom that way they are the correct orientation in your eye. Ben
  17. What about a pair of sealskinz? Ben
  18. I think you are getting your licences mixed up a normal shotgun held on a shotgun certificate is just that. A shotgun held as a section 1 firearm is held on a firearms certificate. A section 5 weapon can only be held by someone with the section 5 firearms certificate which is not normally going to be joe bloggs. Ben
  19. 5 shot shotgun not section 5 shotgun which would be a prohbited weapon. Ben
  20. Bidwell has specific special clearance for using the guns he does use and they are only ever used for displays. Ben
  21. If you are wanting to do more than just reading and writing emails i.e some real work then you do need something with a proper keyboard so one of the small form factor laptops would probably be your best bet. Otherwise a PDA instead of a blackberry might be better. I have one of these: http://www.ergo.co.uk/products/laptops/mic...e411/index.html Lovely little laptop. Ben
