Labour know they won't win and could even get pushed out of opposition by the Pointless Party aka Lib Dems

There is stuff on youtube claiming over 120km/h and weaving in an out of traffic

They are not legal over here on public roads footpaths or public places such as parks. Some of them now can hit incredible speeds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8h-qGqeY4lw

Well it was Al Jazeera...…..

What do you want? Names and addresses? Now you fully realise that questions like that are not really ever going to be answered so why ask them? Its tactical obduration but it only shows your real motives. Look up German migrant crisis and see for yourself what the reality is, riots, a crime wave, rapes, general unrest.
-
They do welcome them with open arms its true but the deal is very different to what they would get in the UK. They more or less have to live in migrant hostels, they have to carry a registration card at all times. The German people regard them and treat them as unter menschen ( low life)
-
Yes but it treats them like second class citizens with lots of restrictions and very few rights so a lot of them soon wise up and want to relocate again to Sweden, Holland and UK

I hate it when people disappear for no reason so...

I get a lot more pleasure out of target shooting these day. Its challenging and I do it in good company. If I go foxing with friends in Wales im the one carrying the lamp. Its too much trouble trying to transport my rifle 200+ miles and then store it -
Its different depending on where the illegals come from. Chinese come here to work for other Chinese in the main. Other nationalities end up in car washes or moped gangs. A lot end up working for dodgy builders, every morning about 7am fifty or more gather at a layby by an industrial estate near here and get picked up by vans and minibuses. A lot work for various fast food delivery firms and others deliver leaflets and charity bags. Also, just so there is no doubt, illegal immigrants can legitimately apply for and get an NI number, they are not barred, although I can see why they would be wary of doing so.

The big elephant in the room is the oil, the SNP would say its Scottish oil and belongs to Scotland but only a miniscule amount comes from within Scottish waters. Most of it is in International waters and belongs to the UK by the North Sea treaty.

Before the last referendum my aunt had a man in a kilt turn up on her doorstep wearing a big YES badge. He told her that if they got independence there would be so much money in the pot from the oil they would be able to double her pension. She believed him and voted yes, the thing is I think she still believes it and would vote yes again.

Just goes to show doesn't it, he had mobility cars for decades. A nice shiny new car every few years and living rent free. You can see how that looked to me, working sixty hours a week to pay the mortgage and driving around in an old banger. The only reason he lost the car was when his diabetes affected his eyes

On those UK Border Force programmes when the officers raid a Chinese restaurant and find a load of illegals working in the kitchens all they do is take their names and tell them to report to a local police station. Which of course they fail to do and immediately disappear again. It can't just be me who thinks that is pathetic

In an ideal world I would agree with you. However I am now too old and too cynical to have much faith in foreign aidh

Illegal immigrants can (and do) gradually establish themselves in this country if they know how to go about it. The main reason for that lies with the inefficiency in our Civil Service and Councils who don't ask the right questions or carry out the right checks. As a landlord myself I often watch the programme Slum Landlords and Nightmare Tenants, I find it quite informative but one of the legal requirements of a landlord is to establish a tenant's immigration status. Known as RTR (right to remain). So when they raid these illegal doss houses with ten people sleeping in one room the landlord could be fined ten times over. Do they get fined? I don't think so, I have never heard of anyone getting fined. The rules are there, just not enforced

Yes Rwanda rings a bell, I said it was somewhere like Chad because I couldn't think where it was they deported people to. The thing about Israel though is the speed with which they do it. Anybody caught today is likely to be on a plane tomorrow or the next day at the latest. No hearings or appeals with legal aid like over here. I believe if they turn up a second time its straight to prison, do not pass go, do not collect £200. The Israeli public's disaffection with the policy is not because they find it demeaning. There is a real problem getting enough low paid labourers to do the building work etc, who else would want to work in that heat? They look to places like Dubai with their armies of slave construction workers with envy . Believe me, its not compassion. Its much the same in Canada, quite a few years back a friend of mine was caught working while on a tourist visa. He was just put straight on a plane home the same day. Nothing heavy handed about it, they dealt with him very firmly though because he broke the rules. He accepted it without a fuss If it works for Canada, why not here?

to work in takeaways, cheap labour

Israel has an answer to that, they deport them to a third country that they pay to take them. Its somewhere like Chad.

He had "sciatica" and chronic back pain (allegedly) I'm sure he did, most people get both, its just a question of how far and how hard you want to push it.

I am told by my mother's carer who is Hungarian that there is a best seller book written in various languages telling Eastern Europeans what benefits they can claim in Britain, which websites to go on, which forms to request and how to fill them in. How to deal with schools, banks etc we are so stupid

That describes my cousin pretty well, I have spoken about him before on here many times' He lived for nearly 40 years on the state after getting made redundant from the motor trade in the midlands. First few years he was looking for work, then he started to play the system and started stacking up the benefits. Rent payed, sickness benefit (bad back) mobility car, attendance allowance etc. Two daughters put through Uni for free. He didn't do badly, sadly he died last year but I bet even his funeral came out of the public purse I can vouch for the fact that its true, its possible (or it was possible before Universal Credit) to rack up big money and live well enough.

I disagree with that, they have all the all the carp and none of the glory. But everybody wants to knock them, especially in London. Then they wonder why there is a recruitment problem and people are leaving the job in droves

I know this probably means I am a terrible person and deserve to burn in the eternal fires etc, but I really couldn't care less

We have a 2 bed flat in Cornwall which we have been told needs a new boiler, although actually its working perfectly, but apparently a lot of the spares are unobtainable should it go wrong. The quote was for a Worcester Bosch, Its a straight forward in/out replacement, no issues. Ball park figure how much would you say? before I tell you what the quote is. Remember this is Cornwall where there is two tier pricing for most things.
