  1. im hoping itll have a good signal range, if it doesnt should be easy enough to boost the signal - either that or ill be buying a flak jacket and helmet off ebay next
  2. firstly its expensive, secondly this is only for a bit of fun with my mates, and thirdly you wont need to go to a clay ground, all youll need is a field with shortish grass on it
  3. mung and the rest of the essex boys maybe?!
  4. na, im ok again, got out for a while yesterday, and had a few drinks today this is just the usual mentalness
  5. women are scary enough as it is, never mind ones that can snap your neck
  6. maybe though i know what will probably happen is ill spend hours drawing up the plans, trying new idea's, fiddling with the components, take my time over a few weeks building it and testing it, redesigning it, and tearing my hair out in frustration before finally come up with something that works amazing and that everyone would want, and would pay big money for! and then some gobsheen (aka mates richie or nigel) will put a buckshot shell through it the first day i show it to them
  7. yep, youre gonna have fun hitting this thing when im finished with it!! itll be a 2d bunny, cut out of thickish metal sheet to withstand a good few shots, or out of planks of wood (metal might be too heavy) that can be easily replaced
  8. already thought of that, were gonna have the target set so when you hit it the target falls over, but resets, like the plinking type ones with a weight beneath it
  9. one of this years resolutions was to start/finish all the (wacky?) stuff i thought up last year (still havnt got round to finishing the home made night vision scope ). i mentioned this on here before, but only getting round to it now. at the start of last year i'd been complaining that there wasnt an awful lot of rabbits in the places we shoot, and had been thinking up a few different ways of simulating rabbit shooting. it all got brushed aside about spring time (got a place that was teeming with rabbits), but now ive decided to finally sort out my idea. so, i give you (drumroll....) THE BUNNY TRUCK (mk 0.5 prototype) :( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT i picked this remote control car up on ebay for less than a tenner. the idea is to put a pole on top of it, with a rabbit sillohette on top of that, then one person drives the car about while the other tries to blast the target on top of the pole better than clays, because you gont need to carry a trap or clays about with you, and you wont leave a load of broken clays everywhere. were going to mount the target on a pole to try and save the car itself being shot, and were also going to fashion extra armour for the car (just incase), probably out of a couple of sheets of tin (hope itll stop 6's at 30 yards) waiting for the car to arrive in the post, as soon as i get it sorted ill let you know how it goes (but if it doesnt work ill never mention it again... )
  10. its ok, ive worked out what the blue wee is heres the solution
  11. sit in the sheds and pick them off when they try to come in, we do that alot. at those close ranges 28g 7.5 does the trick nicely, even on grey backed crows - even if it doesnt work youre still sitting in a dry shed all day
  12. make sure shes the one you want to marry anyway i wear neoprene socks under my boots
  13. ha! one my local rfd's told me their handling charge is £50 on top of shipping fees (to receive, anyway)
  14. tough one, it really depends on the weight and volume of the paste. as daft as it sounds, weighing one mil of the paste would possibly be your best bet to work out an accurate result
  15. £20 and a bottle of vodka, my final offer so how much does one of these elctric tester thingys cost? didnt see in the link
  16. awww, now thats someone else im going to have to block pm's from congrats mate
