  1. I found the trigger pull were lighter than I was used to with my other guns, (see below) which caught me out a couple of times as I pulled the trigger sooner than I meant to. Other than that it's bee faultless. Also shoots flatter than I was used to so the comment above about it shooting high surprised me. Just goes to show that we are all different and how important gun fit is.
  2. I ended up with a Malamute Collie cross. He's 17 weeks old now and shaping up to be one of the nicest dogs I've ever had.
  3. Fine gun? I thought he said it was a Beretta?
  4. I know what you mean. Some of the service I've been getting from on line sellers recently has been so good it make you worry even more for the traditional shops.
  5. My BIL has just bought himself an old semi auto fitted with a poly choke. For those who haven't seen them it is a choke which you adjust by twisting to give various constrictions from Skeet to extra full. Seems perfect for a semi as it takes a moment to change choke, doesn't seem to make it barrel heavy & doesn't seem to have a noticeable down side. So why do they seem to have faded away?
  6. Hatsan has never let me down but if you don't fancy that then take a look at Franchi Raptors
  7. Hope this helps. I've been getting loads of PPI refund type calls for the past few months. It go so bad that I don't answer the phone unless it comes up with a name on the screen. I then Google the number and if, as most are, its that type I save it to contacts as crap1, 2 3 etc. Anyway I've just downloaded a free app called ignore call. You can set it so the phone ignores calls and/or sms from any selected numbers in your contacts. My **** list is now set up and peace has returned. I'm sure I'll get the odd call from a new scammer but it will only take a moment to add it. Just wish I could do the same with the home phone.
  8. I'd hang on to the Silver Pigeon and look at getting a cheap SBS for walked up (You'll pick one up for £100) & see how you get on with it.
  9. Well if someone wants to try it let him. He's got two hands so he should get two attempts before he realises it's one thing to make something that looks like a gun but quite another to make a gun.
  10. Where in Kent are you? If you can get down to Folkestone Chris Orasinski might do it while you wait. Or if near Ashford there's an old boy near Hamstreet.
  11. I must say Stuart Hall, like Saville, were no real surprise but DLT & Rolf Harris were! Just goes to show that you never can tell (Assuming they are found guilty etc, etc)
  12. Hi As above. I'm a Virgin Media customer and used to use their free anti virus. Then they updated it and it never worked properly again, their tech guy said it was a known issue. I am using Avast now but have used AVG in the past & wondered if one is better than the other or if there is something else I could use. If Virgins free stuff is fixed now i'd go back to that. Anyone any thoughts?
  13. I have a pair of slim Caldwells. Work well and batteries have been in them 2 years now and still going strong.
  14. JABB As you can see I've had old barrel heavy Miroku, Beretta Gold E and now a 725. The 725 is by far the best of the bunch but also look at late 525's as they had lighter barrels & feel really nice. BTW I bought Briley extended chokes for the 725 and put a little lead under the recoil pad to rebalance it
  15. Here we go. Hope this is correctA1 to Z1 = 1955 to 1980 except N1 which covered 1968 and 1969. A2 to Z2 is 1981 to 2006 except N2 was 1994 and 1995.
  16. Which one? The pole dancer in the hooters vest?
  17. Right. I (think) the brown ones are made of a material called Viton. It does not go brittle when heated. The black ones are EDPM which does and may explain why some people have to keep changing them. Mind you if the black ones are cheap and easy to get hold of & the others aren't then buy a load and just change them regularly.
  18. I've got one of them! I found the date codes a while ago so I'll see if I can dig the info out
  19. Poor old Retromlc he gets confused when he has to think and type at the same time! I have a S1 Sporter not a Hunter. Lovely gun & fits me, which is by far the most important thing. It's far better to shoot, for me anyway, than the 682 Gold E I had and better balanced than the older Miroku/Brownings. I am not convinced that the DS chokes as supplied pattern well. I got some aftermarket ones & things improved (a lot!). Downsides? I've never liked the shape of the fore end, but that doesn't effect the way it shoots. I don't think the DS pattern well but others may disagree. At the end of the day though get a gun that fits you (or can be altered to fit you) rather than buying something that someone else thinks is great.
  20. 2mm sounds right but 22mm is a bit tight. the I/d on my spares are approx. 24mm (o/d 28mm) Came new with the gun so must be Hatsan originals. Also they are brown not black. Does the colour tell you the spec of the rubber?

I mean that the show is poor not the tits!

I have to say that, not having sat through a full show since the early stages, I cannot believe how poor it is! Can't see how it will make it to say third season.

Shame this is nearly over. Holly's tits have been slowly working their way out week by week. Another couple of shows and they'd have made it!
