  8. I would say admirable intentions, he's your son so do all you can for him within reason, as for him taking the Mick I'm sure you no him better than most. If it was my son I'd do all I could to help him Seek proper advice from the citizens advice, they give confidential, impartial brilliant help. Well done sir
  9. I've had me licence in staffs for a couple of years now and to be honest never had cause to complain, a chap called Bret Oaks will probably do the visit and he's a good bloke, just relax offer him a brew and a biscuit and somewhere comfy to sit, you'll be fine. If you ring the firearms dept ask for sue, she seems to be the most knowledgeable there and has always been polite and helpful. Timescale wise I'd say 8 to 12 weeks depending on their workload and your application, as long as you have no criminal record and no history of mental illness to slow things down. Relax, give it six weeks and call to politely see how things are goin All the best dude
  10. Oh please !!!  Can't get away from this on the telly, not on here please.

I thought the same mungler , I'm not anti anything really but the two wpc,s seemed to great delight in dishing out misery ' I'd also have to say in support of the programme there is a serious side as per being on phones whilst driving and not wearing seat belts, as the programme showed this can ruin people's lives and more often than not innocent by standers catch the brunt
  13. They'll just check that you have no suicidal tendencies or you're not about to kill anybody else, discuss the application with your gp, as long as your honest you'll have no problems, Don't worry
  14. Firstly I admire your honesty, as long as you declared everything and your gp confirms what you said about the stress you'll be fine, probably will just take a bit longer well the old bill verify what you've said, Don't worry you'll soon be blazing away
  15. That is an impressive bag, well done

    g.d.k trading

Anybody heard of this company or bought from them in the past, they have some reasonably priced cabinets on the bay but as ever im allways hesitant to buy from there.
  20. just checking if anybody has one they dont want, preferably 5 gun suitable for rifles too with locking top box. midlands area.
  21. Talking Heads, Psycho killer.
  22. Read all the comments and all i can say is what a mixed bag, the only thing i can think to say is if the surrounding neighbours keep complaining then there could be a risk that the farmer gets fed up with the hastle of having you around, i would say talk to the neighbours and try to keep things amicable and maybe let the farmer know youve spoken to them just to show you dont want him to be hassled. Diplomacy i would say in these situations is best first policy.

I,ve got the cz cause its what i could afford at the time, it has a wildcat mod and is in nice condition. I use a deben tracer for lamping but only have an ags scope at the moment which isnt suitable realy, not a bad scope but just not good enough for the purpose im using it for so will be changing in the future. The rifle itself is superb for the money but i would say at a pound a shot it can run expensive and is also very differant to a rimfire, my original purchase was going to be a t3 hunter in wood but i got the cz at less than half the price so i thought it would be worth a go, as for use its for foxing and to be honest im yet to bag one with it so still some work to be done. MY advice would be listen to your loal rfd and tell him what you want, if he's worth his salt he will be honest enough to guide you in the right direction, so you can allways go back for more advice. The cz i bought is more than adequate for what i need and my advice would be to spend what you need to spend, dont go mad for the sake of it, its easy to get carried away.
