    Whichever air rifle you choose use wad cutters (flat heads) they work great at short distances without over penetration. /S/

    I have an old 12g Ball Mould so i melt the pellets and make lead balls which i have loaded into the 12g cartidges. I also melt them and use them as sinkers / weights for fishing. /S/

    If it groups well at 20 yards there is no reason why it shouldn't do so at a longer range too - try a benchrest shoot and see if it groups at 40 yards if yes then you need more practice. /S/

    Hi, I have a Geco 12g DBBL with external hammers. Was wondering - how long at a stretch can we leave the hammers cocked without causing any spring weakening. Thanks John
