  4. our little club bought a double thrower,it is absolute rubbish, throws about 2 feet, constantly fails to operate and breaks clays faster than our AA shooter,we have given up using it,hope to get a refund.and they don't want to deal about it,stear well clear of them
  5. Fabarm STL High rib sporter, love it and have bested every ground with it Perazzi MX12 Game,30" beautiful, but the grip doesn't feel comfortable so for sale Franchi AL Auto, hacked the stock to fit and great for hide shooting (which I don't seem to do anymore so don't use) STL just suits so is my go to gun all the time now

  11. i got one to transport by odds and **** at enduro meetings, you have to drag it even on fireroads as clearance is minimal,i ended up buy a fishing thingy and tying it to it as it has large phunmatic tyres with lots of clearance
  12. look,If you tried one and got on really well with it,like the look of them and can afford it,if you have enough experiece to KNOW it's going to be a keeper.then that's enough of a reason to have it,I have seen a couple ,not shot but handled them, they are destintive and the weight seems nothing in the shoulder.as to if it's worth going to Germany???Yeah why not ,it's part of life rich experience. The recent Perazzi experience thread was well recieved, maybe you should do the same?guns are a personal thing,do what makes you feel good. I spent a small fortune on a Perazzi recently ,fitted, overhauled etc, couldn't hit a thing with it?It doesn't always yeald results. However I have just bought a Fabarm STL high rib off the shelf and it's going so well I can't belive it's me pulling the trigger.finding the right gun is more important than how much etc,and I think you need experience to know what you need.
  13. I had a 1968 911T,it was beautiful,i spent £1000's and spent 100 's of hours on it.it was worth it.
  14. i always want to "upgrade" but every time I use my HW100 i can't fault it,Soooo accurate and a lovely trigger, with an A&M cylinder on it it balances better too
  15. when i had trouble with my A400 Unico I was told I could reject the gun on failure to repair on their 4th attempt,I sold mine after it continued to fault after 3rd attempt and several months with the gun at GMK,but Edgars may be a whole lot better.
  16. Hamster, be cool,I'm just saying.from what I have read lots of things don't add up.if a plane switches off its locator,a plane can disappear off radar.whatever happened, all comms were switched off and plane changed direction/ blew up at the exact point it falls off one radar before its gets picked up again.how did it fly for so long( the engines were still communicating with roles Royce for a further.number of hours) why didn't passengers make phone calls, as business men someone would of had a sat phone? If it sank that far away they would have got a message out.why long after it would have run out of fuel did passengers phone apparently still ring?if it was passenger terrorists then how did they take over and stop all calls, I don't think 2 false passport holders could manage that.So how did it get that far without a message being sent? If terrorists why no claim to be responsible? I think the pilot decided to make a statement, maybe political? Anti China/ North Korea and attempted a 9/11 incident.it could have been shot down and then a cover up. The black box recovered and placed as I said.remember that they have only been searching the ocean,it could be on land?
  17. I think that it was being flown by the pilots with intent to crash it into something,china/north Korea???it was shot down. It's funny how the first signals of the black box were discovered by a Chinesse vessal, maybe they dropped it in the ocean where nothing would be found, and no debris??? there would be some. 18. Hi,I thought i'd give my views on this gun,as I bought one about amonth ago. After longing for a Perrazzi for years and finally getting one, then having it altered to fit me i thought I'd finally have a gun I could not go wrong with, but my scores plummeted for 5 months and I had had enough.Being a game gun maybe it was too flighty? I decided to sell and get another gun but after thinking carfully about what I thought my problems were, which was mainly losing the clay from my sight, which seems to be the problem I've experienced with every gun,so after having an eye test, still not needing glasses I decided I needed to change tack and try something different. I had read about high rib sporters and had seen a STL about 2 years ago and liked the idea so went to Chris Potters gun and borrowed a used STL. i shot 250 clays with it alongside my Perrazzi,4 clays with the STL then 4 with the Perazzi(always P-gun second to give me a better chance with it ) and was impressed with the head up position and it seemed that I could see the clay the whole time.and even when firing random clays I was hitting more with the STL. So I bought it. It's a 30" version and the balance feels just right,it's got a heavy-ish feel to it but that steadies the swing and reduces recoil. Target kills seem easier, you can difinately see the clay and there is little head movement when mounting due to the Monty Carlo comb. The slight palm swell fills my hand, which are quite big and trigger pulls are not as smooth as a Perazzi, but as good as any other gun I've shot. The finish is pleasing to the eye, I like the engraving and the type of finish to the action. Since I have had it I've shot it about 6 times,2 times at 3 different grounds and I have beaten my best score with any other gun I have ever shot on each occasion. So I'm a happy bunny,I know i can hit things more consistantly now and more importantly I can usually tell why i missed, whereas before I never really knew what was going on.
