Hi person22, just got my FAC, i had two friends one a nurse and the other owns a garage to sign mine went through with no problems.I see you are putting in for a .22. My FAO would not grant a .22 on one of my permissions because of ricochet but the .17HMR is fine. He has granted the .22lr on my other permissions but tried to steer me towards buying a .17HMR as they are a lot safer.Hope things go ok for you. :o

Hi, any one got a savage .17HMR,whot are they like? Also been looking at the CZ 452 varmint with 16in barrel, is this the heavy barrel and what advantage if any has this on the longer barrel. Thanks Lanber.

Thanks markbivvy, well i have a .22lr and .17hmr on my ticket, the officer who came round advised me to get the .17hmr and change the .22lr for a 222 or 223. he said that the .17hmr will do all that the .22lr will and more. but for foxes he advises the 222 or 223.He said if i deside the .17hmr is good enough send the FAC back and he will get it changed free of charge.Not bad service.
