I just bought an ultralight! I love it. I was also going from. 20g to a 12 and there is no difference in weight. A bit more recoil though...!

Good stuff! I took my daugther out a few weeks ago and fitted the go pro to her head then proceded to hit her on the head with a pheasant!

My mounting was not good and was looking onto the barrels more than along and i was following targets and not getting infront of them. He also said its good that i knew where i was missing targets as its easier for me to adjust. He also explained the proportion of spread shot. Basically shooting the feet of the target.

Thanks Grrclark for recommending stewart cummings. Just finished my lesson and i know the error of my ways. As always confidence plays a huge part but having it explained to me i now understand a whole lot about what i am doing wrong and how to correct.

My bad then! I have bought shot spot for my glasses but i prefer to shoot with contacts in as the weather up here my prescription glasses get wet and misty and become more a hinderance. I agree i shoot far better snap shooting hence why i feel i am a better walked up shot. I will need to practise not mounting too early.
