Elderkins do a good job on opening chokes out, they did my 12 bore from 3/4 and full to 1/4 and 1/2

John Forsey and just cartridges both stock 10 bore. Don't know about a shop in lincs thought!

One of the farmers i shoot for has tinnitus due to not using hearing protection when shooting a shotgun and prolonged use of loud machinery.

I've look at getting some from but their prices are more than local dealers for all the cartridges i'd want to buy, even with fuel costs it is still cheaper to go local!

Why would a loose shotgun cartridge cause a problem? After all there is no requirement to keep them secured unlike FAC ammunition.

If you don't shoot many cartridges a year then the price doesn't matter too much. Shooting non toxic through older english fowling pieces is expensive, but people do it for the love of the sport and the history behind the gun they are shooting.

Chances are it wont be steel shot proof, if you're going to be doing alot of fowling for many years to come you might as well buy something that is steel shot proof!
