  12. 25+ year old Lanber, replaced main springs about year ago, probably had 250'000 carts through it so not bad going. Have stripped and oil finished the woodwork, really needs the barrels re blacking to tidy up though.
  13. I use 7.5 Kent velocity's on everything, my gun is fixed choke 3/4 and F, if I don't point it in the right place then the clay don't break. But when I do connect it breaks them well.
  14. I believe this is the case.. A good friend of mine who is an RFD and gun shop owner told me this. Claygone
  15. As 4eyes says, should be an hour an axle at a local independent garage (30-40), plus parts and vat. Never ever use the like of **** fit or other tyre places for stuff like this as they tend to ****t you with the rough end of a pineapple Disks are now made from marzipan, and the pads are now a lot harder since the removal of asbestos, so as has been said they will need replacing every other set of pads.
  16. I used to drive for a friend of mine who owns a courier business, he had a LWB 3.5t and i used to get 45 mpg from that on a good run fully loaded, also had 4.5t LWB high top twin wheeler drove that to Manchester and back and got 42 mpg. Both vans had covered in excess of 170k miles and only ever had routine servicing etc....ohh and both went like stink as they both had the biggest engine Ford did.
  17. My Lanber's fired many 1000's of cartridges (being 28 years old now), still tight, only had to replace the main springs!!!
