  7. Hi Stanners I can only second what the others have already said, try Park Street pick a few up and see how they fit, you will know the ones that dont. Broomhills (now know as the www.theshootinggrounds.co.uk)had the gun room closed the other day and you could pick a gun for them to bring out from a menu! The other place worth having a look at is Country Pursuits in Rickmansworth, they have a good selection to try fit. The best option of course is come and have a play at one of the main shoots around, we dont bite. Michael

    help please

This is a bit old but it will show you how to First of all you will need a Photobucket account, this is my preference and there are others out there. Its free to join. Step 1: Upload the pictures from your camera onto your PC and put them somewhere you can find them. Step 2: Once you have your account log on and you will see this page: Step 3: Once into your account you will see a big green button that says "Upload Images and Videos" click on this button Step 4: You are now taken to this screen, it will ask you to select the pictures you want to upload, if you have been clever and put all of the pictures into one folder you can hold down the keys "Ctrl and A" this will select all of your pictures in one go, or of course you can just select one of the ones you want. Then select "Open" Your pictures will now start loading onto Photobucket and you will see this screen Step 5: This is the next screen you will see, here you can name and give your pictures a description, you can just ignore this bit if you want and just press save. Step 6:Your photos are now loaded onto Photobucket and have been given coding that allows you to place them into a post on the forum, hold the mouse over the image you want to upload and a drop down box will appear under the photo Step 7: With the drop down box under the photo showing, go down to the bottom to where is says "IMG Code", right click your mouse over this and a window will appear, select "copy" you can now go to your post, right click again and select paste

  11. One for the Hert's Massive. I have been shooting at Codicote Bottom on and off for about 15yrs and have found it a friendly and enjoyable shoot, the shoot is on every other Sunday with the first card at 10am and the last about noon. The Club is situated at Codicote Bottom Farm on the Kimpton road between Codicote and Kimpton, the Entrance to the farm is trhe entrance to the shoot, as you drive in turn right and park by the hay barn http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl The Farm Entrance The ground has a DTL/Compact/ABT and Sporting layout Each shoot the layout is changed and there are plenty of varied and challenging layouts, dont expect to rock up and fill your card If you would like to come along you are more than welcome, I will be at the next shoot and it would be good to see some new faces, if you dont wish to shoot just come and have a look round, while you are there you can grab a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea from the on site cafe Non members are welcome but you will have to show a valid SGC before you are allowed to shoot 13th Nov Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 27th Nov Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 11th Dec Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 27th Dec Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 8th Jan Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 22nd Jan Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 5th Feb Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 19th Feb Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 4th March Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 18th March Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 1st April Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 15th April Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 29th April Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 13th May Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact 27th May Sporting/ABT/DTL/Compact Huff Huff has also very kindly added the dates to his very useful clay calendar Thanks for looking Michael

  14. Christmas do is going to be interesting Billy My Sloe Gin was down with brown sugar, ginger, mixed spice and peppermint oil
  15. Have a look into Gooogle Adwords, this is something you can set up and manage yourself, it is very easy to do and costs as much as you want it to. I use it can get abut a 10-1 return on my money. The most important thing is the keywords and how you set them up, you have to think like the third person and how they would look and ask a search engine for the service you offer. Best of luck to you and your wife in the business venture
  16. Cracking result, well done
  17. You are doing so much good for that Canal, what with the cormorants as well the fish stocks are well down, it would be nice to see some tiddlers back again.
  18. This has been mentioned on here and I do recall a study being posted about the fact they do see in UV, Silsox do use UV on there decoys and I must admit I paint mine with UV paint, again does it work? It cant hurt using the paint and it brightens them up once a year.
