  14. Hi Chris Thanks for that, I'll have a look. Saddler is considering what he can do for me, so a couple of cheapies will save me spoiling a nice one if Saddler has something suitable
  15. Hi Saddler Any simple buckle that works! Couple of pictures of the belt I'm presently wearing! Sorry about the socks Guess the 44" less 4" means I'm a tad bigger than 36/38" waist though Let me know if you've anything suitable??
  16. Generally £50 + excluding deliver and in the gun shops branded makes ++! For example: http://www.stylight.co.uk/search.action?gclid=CLXtrcr098sCFcSRGwodPWQA4Q&tag=10001&tag=10015&tag=10018&campaignId=10195&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=sem+gb&utm_campaign=10195&ef_id=U5XlqwAABW-VADhF:20160405162458:s
  17. As a hairy old seadog, I should be able to, being old enough, to remember sewing canvas - but leather, really!! - dangerous from the elbows down comes to mind !! Was hoping MelB might have jumped in with a suggestion, if his wife still dapples!
  18. I guess the main question is, what does it cost to have all the work done and will you get your money back/break even, that said I've seen them going from top hundreds into the thousand plus, especially as it's the SL variant. My son had the same SL model and traded it some years ago - wish I'd taken it off his hands!! I guess get a price from the professionals in the trade with and without the work and see if it's worth it. Sorry I can't help with anymore useful info! Regards
  19. Any recommendations for a leather belt supplier, mine are all starting to get a bit worn and tired - I want the thicker style, for work/casual trousers, say 35mm by 4mm (waist about 36/38" as far as I'm admitting ) - seen some stupid designer prices online!
  20. Love the AYA XXV S/l - You could join the AYA owners group uk on Facebook and ask the many owners on there the same questions - they seem quite helpful from what I have read.
  21. Seems the conservation project on Langholm Moor in Dumfriesshire has to come to a close, just seen this on a FB page: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8NTuL0zeBC7SUpNY19XWWk1T0k/preview?pref=2&pli=1 I know nothing about the project, apart from old odd mentions in the shooting press - so I won't comment! Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can expand on this!
