Cheers guys, plenty to try. Have a box of alpha max 36g bb that pattern nice. I just want plenty of whack to ensure a clean kill, recoil isn't a issue as you don't fire many. Going in an 870 wingmaster. I found the 36's not bad at all and there is plenty of BB's in there. Are we talking 30 yards here?

300bar is the best bet as you get more fills for your money then 232 bar. I got a 3 litre one for 150 quid with the gauge and whip ect but seen them for 145 locally too. Cost me £2 to fill it and lasted about 4-6 months for me....... I got a small bottle as I don't use it loads but still lasts about a tin of pellets or more I think I worked it out at

just acetone will do if you just need to de grease it

was there much kick? ie noticibly more then your normal carts? (guessing yh but never tried a 50grammer)

I fancy trying a cheap holo or low profile dot setup, like the ones shaped like an L on its side, surely it's the same as a glow bead and would make two eye shooting easier? I always look at the target instead of the bead unless I try really hard lol
