  1. a bottle is easier though, take seconds best to fill slowly but still its seconds. if you in the position to buy a bottle money wise, and have some where that will fill it ( my 3litre 300bar cost me £2 to get filled) then its a god send! i've not used a pump on a PCP so cant comment unbaisedly but......
  2. will try and pop by my local dive shops with the tank and see what they have. i just thought it might be an easy off the shelf part
  3. both work, bottle is just so much easier and takes less then 30 seconds....
  4. I've got a small air tank for my PCP and the knob has broken off the top, its a rubber knob with a plastic insert that mounts to the shaft.... its just the plastic bit that has broken and the shaft is fine and un bent or damaged in anyway (thankfully!!) does anyone know where i can get a replacment? cheers
  5. Cheers Kept the biggies and fox baited the small one
  6. Glad you enjoyed it Pics just taken with my iPhone 4 but they seems to come out well!
  7. blimey! whats it zero'd for? seemed quite windy too! amazing!
  8. Thanks for the kind words folks! Really pleased about it It's an old beef farm mainly but some of the fields are rarely used, one is flooded most of the year ect. Got quite lucky on the permission as the land surrounds our house I've had the odd crow like that aswel, land right above and no have of getting lined up! **** law eh! Like you say, come harvest they'll be plenty about
  9. unless he means the pcp....
  10. Hello, i recently got a BSA Ultra in .22 Single shot flavour.... i zero'd it probably a little far 35 yards, not had much luck due to my bad guessing of distance. but can get very small groups of about 5p size so pleased it shoots right. Any way. Went out today, heavy weather about. took the air rifle, tried to sneek up on some Jays and crows but with the thick green leaves about in the tree's spotting them is tricky so off they flew! carried on my wonder and came across a rabbit probably about 20 yards..... fluffed it and off he shoots. i snuck over the hedge and saw some doc leaves going brown i thought was a rabbit... nope.... but it turned out to be a fox sat waiting infront of the rabbit holes! Why didnt i bring the shotgun! 15 yards away! oh well! not worth looking around those fields even after i walked upto him and he shot off like a bullet! over to another part of the farm and i saw 3 rabbit a decent distance away, crouching down in the hedge i lined up.... 1.5 mill dots holdover i thought would do it..., ping off the H&N FTT went.... thap! over he goes on his back, clean kill! blimey i thought!! better yet his buddy hopped up next to him and wondered what was going on..... 1.5 mill-dots again..... ping.....H&N FTT does it again! out like a light.i couldn't believe it! paced it out at 50 yard.... later confirmed this on google maps.. well 45 meters! Here's how they fell, both good head shots good size bunnies these! its a marshy field thats very lush! and looking back... i took the shot from between the telegraph pole and big tree, (you can make out my footprints) chuffed with that i carry on... fluffing a short shot (i need to work out the hold under and over) carried on on my wonder and saw some rabbits down a hedge row... standing shot, which i dont normally like doing but the rifle seems to fit me well and i took my time with my breathing and relaxing to get a good steady hold.... H&N bags me another!! paced this at 30 yards. smaller then my other two but still very pleased! making my way back and having a chat with my dad in the garden showing him the new BSA and him telling me how him and his mates used to shoot magpies ect ect when we hear a pigeon... looking around i see that tale tale purple in the thick sickamore trees about25-30 yards (im rubbish at guessing) i wonder inside, get a pellet... load up, stand next to dad... line up and aim at the chest, its face on to me.... down like a sack of spuds.... picked him up and hes a small lad (no pictures sadly) but made me look good infront of the old man! So.... my first kill with the Ultra and it was 4 fold! very pleased! will take a day to work out my hold over and under on the gun so i can get more accurate and might mark up a map with distances marked on for me to gauge it all better! range finders cost a fair bit! but a cracking hour out and very pleased with the lovely gun!! those rabbits had the pellet pass clean through! a joy to use and hopefuly will continue performing. Just need to sort out that Fox thats stealing my rabbits! the Final bag minus the pigeon Cheers!

  12. Nice one! What cart and range? I'm looking to sort out some foxes I've seen with my shotty
  13. I think to stop that you cover the probe as you push the release and then slide it back using your thumb so you don't just let it fly back, quieter too
  14. cheers mate i might give it a go!
  15. i think it looks nicer without the mod totally, its not too loud tbh and its not for serious hunting anyway me on the other hand i love how quiet my ultra is, great for hunting! especially for the times you dont want to use the shotty
  16. he just likes the looks tbh so hes got one and very happy with it:) he can always add a mod, but depends what its used for
  17. i have a ratty with the rabbit barrel, and it knocks out 10.5ft/lbs with standard spring ect
