  1. My parents know the familly well, her sister was at my sisters wedding, it was heartbreaking to see her when absent friends was proposed as a toast. It initially started over somthing small to do with the fence
  2. He used to balif the fishing at Bowmans when it was even worse than it is now, I always thaught he was alright, but wasnt interested in maintaining the lakes at all. Mind you its still a ****hole.

  6. Life is like a pubic hair on the toilet seat. Sometimes you get p 1ssed off. Ive got a tat that reads: Searchin for heaven cos prayin takes too long. Im not sure why I got it now , still at least its in English, not some faux Chinese characters
  7. Have any of these emails about virus's viruss virisis bugs ever been real?
  8. Spot on. Thats the issue you've got to face, at some point when hes buying a bag his mans going to say 'Ive got a bit of this as well if your interested'. If its been drummed into him thast weed is just as bad as coke, pills etc and he enjoys a joint and cant see the harm then the temptation would be 'well weeds been fine, so why not charlie?'. Give him the drug talk by all means, but also be prepared to listen to what he has to say, and be aware that despite what the Daily Mail thinks the odd joint will not bring civilisation crashing down, although it in this weather its advisable to stock up on M&Ms and Doritos before hand
  9. Also I wonder about the link between Skunk and Mental health disorders. I think that a lot of those who smoke weed and later show signs of mental illness may have been self medicating without realising. They are aware that somthings not right, but have never seen a doctor about it. They find that a few joints helps them feel better and a few years later their pre existing issues become obvious to all and sundry. Everyone jumps in with blaming weed for somthing that may have been there in the first place.
  10. I dont think smoking a bit of ganja will do him much bother, most 16-18yr olds will have done. Those who say its much stronger now than it used to be, well yeah ok, but vodkas stronger than lager but I dont drink it by the pint do I? A few joints shared with mates in a local park I wouldnt be worried at all about. If his mate's driving him home stoned afterward however I would not be amused. You say hes a intelligent kid, so trust him to know the difference between right and wrong and know where to draw the line.
  11. This bit on the ebay linkl made me laugh Momentary Tactical Switch – One Touch Provides Immediate Light So what is generally known as an 'On button' then. I didnt realise my light switches at home were tactical. I might have to paint them black.

Sounds like a fun jouryney. Ive got a mate who drives like that We find the odd swastika drawn on the slabs we sell, I believe its the symbol for love or luck or somthing positive anyway (Hitler twisted the design through 45degrees to give his nazi symbol). You try telling that to an irate jewish lady youve just delivered to though. Im sure she still thinks im some kind of foaming anti semetic!
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-11860014 :( :( :( There goes another of my favourites. I just watched Airplane last night with my sister whos never seen it before. He had great timing and that deadpabn delivery was somthing else. RIP Leslie Nielsen 1926-2010

  15. Would it be rude of me to ask why your 'missus' goes by the name of 'Edward'?
  16. Had a fillet last night and cant say I was impressed, which is a shame as I really wanted to like it, but it just seemed bland. It was fairly meaty though so I imagine it would be nice in a fish pie or fishcakes. I just gave it a quick fry and served it with butterd spinach. I wouldnt bother again though.
  17. Havnt planned it yet, have just decided with a mate to do it early Feb time. Was thinking somewhere close to the Thurne or Hickling mere/broad. Any suggestions? Was on Rutland water Saterday and Sunday , no Pike but switched to the Zander late on both days and bagged up, I had 6 on the first day and double that on the second, nothing big but good fun all the same. That place is absolutly stuffed with them.
  18. Cheers mate I will do. Settled on a fry up in the morning last weekend, with a bonus that I now have a Zander that ive got to find a recipie for.
  19. If your not keen on walking you could always run instead Can you let me know how you get on as ive got a weekend on the broads in Febuary chasing pike, cheers.
  20. Afternoon all. Right I fancy making a steak and kidney pie to sustain me on this weekends fishing trip. Having never made one before does anyone have an easy and foolproof recipie? Preferably handed down and perfected by generations of mums and grannies, but a recomendation for a delia recipie would also be good

  24. Cheers Teal, For what its worth it seems to happen most of the time. Im on a BT connection at work and dont seem to have any problems with other sites. Its even little things like I just tried to highlight this text which it did fine but then there was a couple of seconds delay as I clicked off the it to unhighlight it (technical description ) Its not the end of the world though, just a bit annoying.
