  5. This is an interesting video the circumstances he describes work for me on the Norfolk coast, but the fact that you are out trying is good everyday session is a school day.
  6. Tale from the river bank is worth a watch, search out myths and monsters a Llandegfed reservoir pike fishing episode.
  7. There was some footage circulating a week or so ago of two police horses being attacked by an American bulldog, the owner was doing very little to get his dog under control I couldn't see him with a lead a brave member of the public grabbed the dog by its collar, but in the back ground there were people walking past even a woman with a push chair. that incident although unpleasant as it was could have been far worse. The brain of Britain owner stated that his dog was safe and friendly.
  8. Really sad to read this, I have admired his cartoons in shooting types but was unaware of his connection with help for heroes RIP
  9. It would depend on what act and section he was charged under, I think that it would be unlikely he was charged with possession of a firearm without a certificate and more likely possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, so he could be a certificate holder. But I have been retired for a long time and things change.
  10. I use a recipe close to yours a little less milk 100mils but an additional 2 tsp baking powder, they rise fine.
  11. Carr & Day & Martin Belvoir leather balsam is really good a 500 ml tin will last years, I use it on all my leather goods except boots. https://www.carrdaymartin.com/en/products/leather-care/belvoir-leather-balsam-inetsive-conditioner-500ml/
  12. I am happy with what I have but truly regret selling a Charles Boswell SLE live pigeon gun and would love to have it back.
