While this may be legal to do I think it's ethically very bad to kill breeding pairs and young of any species. It can only get our sport a bad name if it gets wider publicity. I would not do it and explain my stance to the landowner.

I'm planning to return to the Solway/Wigton Bay this coming season for a few trips and trying to find a source of advice for shooting/access/parking to Wigton Bay. Getting a permit is not a problem but haing only shot there once on the otherside some advice would be appreciated. Have looked at the Wigton and Creetown Wildfowlers sites but they are thin on info. Similarly advice on where to get permits for the Scottish Solway wolud be helpful. Am thinking of Browelll, Cummertrees, Powfoot etc. That's assuming you cant still shoot them. Thanks in advance.

Used plastic cases ones under the moon for wigeon onyone, the flash was blinding and singed the ducks!
