I did try one of those floating cases wasn't too bad for a couple of seasons but all the padding ended up at the nose end of the slip the barrel just kept pushing it down and there's no way of getting it back lol , for the last couple of seasons ive use napier roll up cases maybe not waterproof but does the job lol Martin

Hi old farrier i agree with everything you say except one point , on the marshes i shoot over its in our club rules to carry your gun in a slip until your off the seawall or out off any reserves that we have to cross to get to our shooting grounds . Am i right thinking you shouldn't walk on the seawall with your gun out as it's a public right off way . Martin

Hi there it sounds like an air lock in the primary s you need to get the air out if you can get at the top 22mm pipe on the side of the cylinder be careful and undo it slowly until you get a dribble of water coming out then tighten up Martin

I fed my lab who is 4 now on skinners duck and rice and salmon and rice because he had a very sensitive stomach and he would poo alot but I started him on raw a month ago and have not looked back less stools and always firm and so much calmer I use nature menu complete food Martin
