  1. One this afternoon on a walk around with the .22. Total 85
  2. I'm in south east cornwall, I use a .243 and .22, not got an open certificate tho but hopefully will next year when I re new, if I can be of any help send me a pm, would not want any payment for helping tho. Had a centerfire 8 years now and know how difficult it can be to get started with mentoring ect
  3. Nice shot, not really into the long range stuff myself but have had a few goes on a mates rpa .243 ai and don't think people realise with the right equipment just how "easy" for want of a better word it is to pull off very accurate shots at very long range. Range it, dial it in nice solid rest dot on the target squeeze trigger. No guess work like some people seem to assume. Personally I prefer to stalk in but don't knock it till you've tried it
  4. Used them years ago and at best they were rubbish, then was forced into using them again last year when that was all my local shop had and haven't used anything else since. They certainly seem to have got their act together now, group just as well as eleys and dare I say look and even smell the same, but cost 6 quid per 100
  5. Nice one, just looked on their website, looks like we are definitely ripped off over here as usual. I'll be buying from them next!
  6. I've been running it in my 2.5 shogun for a few years now with no problems as yet, not dared to push past 60 : 40 diesel to oil yet tho and knock It right back if its cold. No real difference in performance, just change the fuel filter regulary.
  7. There was a post on the stalking directory about this a couple weeks ago, sako quad blown to bits after firing another round, be careful!
  8. Wish they'd hurry up and get to cornwall they look and sound like great fun to me
  9. Remmington subs used to be awful, but after using some of my mates last year in my cz I use them all the time now, just as accurate as winchester and a lot better than eley in my rifle.
  10. I am in A syndicate of 8 guns and 6 of us are left handed, probably know just as many left handed shots as right handed to be honest. I am right handed for writing and most other things but shoot off my left shoulder
  11. Yes perfectly capable at sensible ranges, head shots under 65 yards will drop a fox on the spot, its not the ideal tool for the job, I much prefer my .243 but last year the .22 took 23 foxes and none of them seemed to think the .22 wasn't man enough for them, just got to be sensible and remember It's not a centerfire, keep the ranges sensible and shots precise and you'll be fine
  12. Come on guys let's have a bit of common sense on an open forum, as was mentioned on another thread today, shooters will do more damage to shooting than antis ever will, and this thread is a prime example of it! Why not just agree to disagree and leave it at that, we are all on the same side remember!
