Iv never really been interested in politics, but nigel farage has really made me sit up and take an interest. He even has everyone in work talking politics which cant be a bad thing. I think alot more people will vote in the next election and all i want is a bit of a scare for all the parties to take on board what the general population think of them. I aways get the feeling that they think working class people are a bit thick and cant be trusted to make any decisions and were turning into a nanny/police state with cameras watching our every move. Farage seems to be the sort of guy that says " if you put your hand in the fire dont cry to me if you get burnt", he wants more freedom/ responsibility from us and i like that. I hope he has good security personal and doesn't have an "tragic accident" because he is getting on all the political party's nerves. ie another David Kelly suicide.

A farmers son i know wants me to mentor him for a rimfire rifle. I obviously have permission on his dads farm and have a open fac with rimfire and c/f. Iv only had my fac since aprill last year so want to know if there is some sort of time scale involved ie must hold fac for 2 years before being able to mentor. Got a feeling im not going to get right or wrong response on this one. atb P

Please have a look at the nite tek nt300 add on. its not that expensive and will give most digi add on a run for there money.

Alternator- i would check the wires on the back for corrosion. You can sometimes tell a long before an alternator fails because the rev counter packs up. This is what iv found in the past anyway. if you tell what year il look through my wiring diagrams to see what the rev works off.

Iv an starlight archer. it very very good but a bit pricey. Iv had a few diffent types of nv but the archer is a keeper.

My dream job

Im used to work for john deere but the pay was poo so now repair (well try) mobile cranes. Can be unbelievably frustrating at times there so full of bloody computers. But i love it.

watec 902h or kpc 700 from sure 24. watec is easier as you dot have to get a adapter for cs mounting lenses. i used a watec setup on my 22-250 all last year untill i got my archer. watec + 16mm lens f1.0 f stop. You will get a little bit more range with the 700 iv been told but your talking a few yards. If im wrong somone will be along to correct me. You should go to the relevant websites for help. There are some very helpfull people around who know alot more than me. If you need any info pls pm me atb

Thats what id go for first. quick clean with some contact cleaner sometimes work. try disconnecting it and see it it makes any difference.

I had a n750 and put my own personal review of it on here. I fitted a dpinto adapter, youkon doubler and t20 ir. Visually it was stunning BUT it would loose its zero for no apparent reason and after doing a bit of re search on night vision forums ect i found this was a common problem. I sold it and bought an ex demo gen3 archer. It is amazing, i have seen through better ie pvs14 but the archer is everything i need. If your going to buy a n750 new, put in that little extra and go green. Your not that far from me, if you want a look pls just pm me. Atb Peter.

i bought 2 just incase one run out but never needed the second. nothing worse than running out of battery 3/4 through a shoot night. i also run my 66mm ir lamp of the battery so it had more of a drain. Good luck with your build. more people should give it ago.
