Thats great. glad it has worked out for her, what is the gun ?

I have a huspower 410 yildiz [nice little gun btw] with a 13" youth stock which fits her well, will be looking for a 28g early next year

Thanks for posting [always a pleasure to read your posts] the 56 will remain un touched. I will just use it myself and get her/us 😉. a Yildiz or similar 28 bore. I am being drawn to some nice sxs sidelocks to spend my hard earned savings on. Not sure my vibe is cool trap gun, skeet vest and yellow sunglasses TBH, more old barbour, damascus barrels and a p.o.w grip..

Looking good, what model is that please

Agreed that would be a long term option, atm I dont know if she will take to it or not. I guess she could rent a gun at the club. Just found out her arms barely reach the grip and she dont like the weight, looks like a youths 28g might fit the bill. me Ive just seen a lovely Bates sidelock 1920's....

Will get her to try the Berretta as is for fit and comfort, if not suitable will look at small bore options.

Cheers, good points

Thinking ahead to the spring I should have available approx £2000 to spend on a suitable 12 bore for clays. It is my intention that myself and wife could do a tour of some of the clay clubs on the mainland when having our short breaks. Options include miroku, browning and winchester and a little different fabarm and yildiz both of which have adjustable stocks (which I like). I've scoured g.t but welcome any preferences clay shots might have. Secondly was thinking to shorten the stock and fit a kick eeze on my old Berretta s56e 12 bore for my wife, it has 26" barrels but if using light loads should be soft on the shoulder. Any thoughts ? .....She is a strong woman😁

Another crazy matter going to the Courts. Pub signs that cause 'offence'

I remember listening to "Sorry I haven't a clue " on radio four quite a few years ago and the lovely samantha was reputed to prefer Brewsters tongue in cider. This was sunday lunch time, the stuff humph got away with, another was about the constable that enjoyed stunt kite flying in the Kentish countryside [or something like that] -
Thanks for that Which one do you have ultra ?

Thanks looking now, will need t arrange a carrier !

Cheers good point, yes will look at those, I do have an old bowman but my son moved a few hundred miles away [probably to get away from the bowman] just thought it might work,as easily portable and accesible for one person to use.

That will be good honest graft
