We used to feed raw meet to dogs when I was a child. A shop sold it in the village as pet food from fallen beast. Still got mixed with meal though and cod liver oil added. Puppies also used to get cods heads boiled up and deboned.

They obviously hadn't heard the inbreeding in the Lincolnshire Fens got some what cured by the Irish Navvies coming to build the power stations along the Trent Valley in the 60's.

Its all about personal choice and what you feel comfortable shooting. Most members on here shoot what they are happy to shoot humanely. For whatever reason. If they are not happy about big game shooting it is their right to state that as it is mine. Balls, gonads, etc don't come in to it. Maybe these photos would be better on a forum that specialises in big game hunting, not one that is geared towards what is commonly available in the UK.

Not for me either. Prefer humanely killed vermin or something for the pot. I like venison too. Those photos don't do anything for me except give me the shudders and make me feel sad.

Nice contrast against the dog. You can't tell the difference once the feathers are off and its in the casserole.

I went by bus everywhere didn't have a car till 21 and that one was shared.
