  1. well they would be dressed up if they're 'costumers'!!
  2. Longevity is an issue with these expensive gloves. I've had a pair of MacWet summer gloves for about 3 months and they're already showing wear from the chequering. I also overheard the guy on their stall at Midland gf advising not to wash them as they would 'last longer'. Not inspiring!!
  3. Do you want an umbrella with that love??
  4. Cheshire (I think), near Macclesfield south of Manchester.
  5. I don't know what your gun is but my ex section 1 s/a is gas operated and has a piston/rod which operates the mechanism. It's a small and easily carried part which is unidentifiable as part of a gun and without which the gun is single shot/unusable. Removal of this along with the other measures you highlighted I would consider as reasonable.
  6. That's the best. Grown in the garden, distilled by the village witch doctor. Don't get better than that!
  7. I don't think you're going to get the answer to your original question here as no one, apparently including yourself, really knows what is going on. I can't help feeling though that the guns are the least of your problems at the moment. Perhaps some time to reflect and try to communicate with those around you.
  8. Nekem barack. Es mezes barack finom van.
  9. Better off with ac/dc - cider with Rosie :-)))
  10. Too much heat is not good. It needs to be in a well ventilated space with plenty of daylight. I found a coat a day for a couple of weeks works well. And rub it in until you're hands are hot from friction. And give it a light rub over between coats with fine wire wool. I think that's all....
  11. More interesting to have one of each on the same axle!! Mine were £48 a corner plus fitting. GGs would have been £70+, big saving.
  12. 50 bird 2 man flush on tomorrow at the Waggon and Horses at Congleton from 14.00 'til 16.30. 50 birds in 1 minute 28 seconds - it rocks!!!!
  13. Just got the Freelander back - £606 lighter! I watched the mechanic park the car and noticed a brake light out so I asked how it had passed mot with a dicky light. Embarrassed faces and a new bulb was fitted asap. Just checked my invoice, the cheeky ******** charged me £5 for changing said bulb!!! Had 5 Insa Turbo Rangers fitted, they look the dog's ******** but feel a bit odd. It's going back in tomorrow to have the front wheels rebalanced as I get a wobble at 55-65. It took the poor old tyre fitter over 2 hours to fit and balance these, he won't be happy to see it back!
  14. What finish are you applying it to? It usually dries within a couple of hours on the guns I put it on, all oil finish. If you apply on top of a lacquer finish I can imagine it not drying.
  15. Any idea which cartridges or were the for home loading?
  16. The only source I can find is the Sporting Lodge. Looks good and could be a contender.
  17. Thanks guys. I did read a poor review saying that they didn't wear well but your experiences contradict this. I might get one and see how it goes.
  18. Thanks OPP. I'm currently trying to get a cheapie auction slip to see what the quality is like.
  19. I lost 2 hard drives to lightning when I lived in Poland, then wised up like the locals and bought a surge protector power extension.
  20. My Hyundai Santa Fe just passed but advisories on front pads and discs. Don't know how both cars ended up with mots on the same day but not a cheap process. Still, 50% success rate!
