  1. It's head and shoulders above the Norica I've got but the Hushpower fits the Norica much better. Also suffering from cabinetitis otherwise I'd hang on to it :-(
  2. A mate of mine has a specialist 4x4 garage. He doesn't do any spannering himself, he spends his time welding up bits for discos. Exports them all over the world. He LOVES discos!,
  3. Great, thanks for that. Looks interesting but £5 more the the mad cow ones!
  4. I feel your pain. Decided to have the tyres changed at the same time as the mot work involves retracking, no partying for me this month!
  5. Again, struggling for a website. I can only find Brett Parsons and the site doesn't work on iPad.

    Mot

My Freelander 1 has just failed its mot, shock!! Front offside bottom suspension ball joint - £170 fitted and retracked. OUCH - but it could have been worse I suppose.😣
  7. Thanks. Do you have a web address? All I come up with is a jewellers.
  8. Thinking about a couple of new gunslips for Christmas. Has anyone got/used the Hamilton gun stands? I was also looking at the custom slips made by the Mad Cow workshop when we were at the Midland gf. These are £185 and would be the absolute maximum I would pay so Croots slips are out. Any other suggestions for quality leather slips? The Johnshooter slips on eBay look interesting but I'd prefer to handle a leather slip before shelling out.
  9. I've got a Czech friend who almost died from a tick bite. 3 months in hospital, was touch and go for a while.

    STOLEN DOGS

There are some real ************* around. Hope you get it back ok.
  11. I got ENTIRELY the wrong end of the stick when I read the subject title 😱😱
  12. One in the garden with the .410 Hushpower. Don't normally shoot rabbits in the garden but this one was suffering from mixi so it seemed the kindest thing to do. 2637
  13. Not even Dan Marino could get a Fanta bottle to spin - no laces! Not without a Hail Mary anyway....
  14. I often use fibre through my CG Maxum and DT10 as a couple of the clubs I shoot are fibre only. Not noticed any difference in the breaks through exactly the same chokes, only a slight difference in the sound of the shots.
  15. In Germany last year I was watching a pigeon in a storm. It was sitting on top of a roof in a deluge, acting in exactly the same way as a human in a shower, lifting one wing at a time to do under its 'armpits'!! It was obviously having a great time but looked really odd!
  16. Thanks Timps. I was really interested until I saw the price - £61 for a trigger!!! I think I'll break the gun into its component parts, it must be worth over ten grand in bits!
  17. I have the symmetrical trigger on mine, I'll do some research and see if I can pick up a left handed trigger which might improve things.
  18. This is my gun chaps, a final opportunity to buy at a reduced price before I part ex it for a Syren for my wife. Cheapest Maxum on Guntrader!!
  19. Yep. My father buys cheap 'use by....' stuff as he might not see out a long use by date!!
  20. My DT10 only came with one trigger, I believe originally they were supplied with more. With the trigger adjusted as far forwards as possible it's still too close to my hand meaning that the joint of my finger rests on the trigger rather than the pad of the finger (is this clear??). Is there another trigger available which would sit further forward? The trigger on my Guerini adjusts perfectly and is a more comfortable fit.
  21. I tried some Barbour jackets on at Chelford farm supplies and found the fit strange. Large fitted my chest but was very tight on the arms and across the back, XL fitted arms and back but swamped my torso. I obviously have a body configured for cheap clothing!
