  1. Lightning's a great gun, got one.The block for the scope mounts should come with it, or it did with mine anyway.
  2. Red Stag i think Buzz was talking about his knife not his combine!!Duuurrr!!well to be fair it wud get a nice shave with the clippers and then minced nicely, then when finished pop into a grain trailer and there you have it. Red,have you got any further with purchasing that knife from attleborough?
  3. Can't wait to get it, very funny
  4. I think i need a new screen, when i move my head the circles start to move!!
  5. well to be fair you never know with Bush, i mean look at him and Tony, hes alrady got old tony in his right hand, he could be working on a realtionship with sadam.
  6. BSA is a safe choice and as red said the Lightning is a great choice, as i think mines a great little killing machine, and as Futch recomened the supersport, the lightning is related.
  7. What!!!i thought you said you loved the gun R_s
  8. Jon i don't think this is the caption competition, your heading for a black eye.
  9. Jon, what wildlife is there around you to shoot, theres jack at my place apart from a few pigeons. What about middle of next week we go and see whats asking to be shot? Was there anything left off the pigeon after you'd planted a couple of cartridges in it?
  10. I also think that a bsa lightning is a great chioce of gun but to be fair if you were to get it, its probably best to get it in .177 version as Red_Stag would probs agree wid me. Kills pigeons rabbits no probs and with it being a carbine its easy to move around with out bashing anything, but its also v. well balanced. But if you are looking at a range of 45 yards and over your better off if you have the money to buy a precharged such as the ones mentioned.
  11. haha, i wonder whats happened to him, i doubt he has any mates tho red stag
  12. now where have i seen those pics before Will. what are your rules on these people nickin your stuff?
  13. my mum had a gsp and it wouldn't go into water until it was a couple of years old and then when it was out with the springers and they were swimming in the lake it just threw itself in. so perhaps they like to do it in their own time.
  14. Yep got it thanks. You'll have fun with the .17HMR, whats the ammo situation like, getting any better?
  15. it sounds logical(not that i know nowt bout this).it doesn't need many of the bodys systems when its running away and so they just shut down, giving it more life to run on i suppose cos its not using oxygen for other parts of the body. This probably has nothing to do with this but when i've shot rabbits that haven't a clue i'm there they generally just drop dead but if they have some idea and they are standing up or whatever they sometimes will run for a bit then drop dead.(i know this can be just the nerves inits body doin this though and its not exactly a big animal)
  16. OH LORD.red stags back from Florida, just hope you don't read all those spiteful posts i've been putting up bout you.
  17. i agree with trigga and kind o feel the same as Deako about the last pic.
  18. Nice guns pc f. what do you shoot with the rifles? do you ever have any trouble with your semi auto while out in the field?
  19. Granddads been harvesting for atleast a week, many of my friends have also started.
  20. i'd have to agree aswell but it was Cranfields last post that made me understand the situation better.William has spent alot of time and money on this site and its not really fair to go and abuse this by using it as a 'free advertising' place kind o thing. i may be completely confused though on the way this site works an all though
