Very sensible,  but don't forget you can always be a passenger.

    Good advice from centrepin.

    Take care

It may be an assumption , but it is an assumption based on previous track record. We both know what I mean by brain dead, I'll spell it out just in case you didn't, "thick" just like the majority of Labour's front bench.

And that's part of the trouble, those thick people will happily swallow what labour tells them, the last GE was also going to be a walk in the park and look how that turned out.

could it be a boris and farage coaltion the new conservatives or doom and gloom from the otherside?????

That's what it needs but whether it will happen?? The town I was born in has always been Labour,  can't imagine Tories ever getting in, ever, but the Brexit party could.

So in a strong traditional labour voting constituency that voted leave, if the constituency electorate wanted to leave the EU, they possibly (maybe?)wouldn’t vote for the labour candidate, so they could either vote Tory or BP, this could result in a vote split between the two......possibly allowing Labour to win because of a split Tory/BP vote........even if it was with a reduced majority!!

If the Tory’s can’t win such a seat, would it not be tactically better for the Tory’s to stand aside and let the BP candidate hopefully, get all the leave votes?

Absolutely yes, NF has done his bit, saying he won't go against Tories seats, now Boris needs to do likewise in areas they won't get in.

The BP could split the Tory vote in leave voting, marginal Labour/lib dem held seats!....where the BP plan to field a candidate.

If NF has said he/ they won't field candidates in Tories safe seats then he isn't splitting the vote, surely him going after back peddling Labour seats is a good thing,  if an area voted for Brexit but the tories wouldn't get in.

    Sorry forgot to mention it’s a 22 and a theoben rapid mk2

I read something last week saying that heavier pellets retain their energy down range better than light pellets and I'm thinking the lads on the rapid forum were using 16 grain in their fac's.

Have a look at the Rapid7 forum,  loads of info but you'll need to sign up.

Tamworth town centre for me. I’ve been taking the kids since they were born. In the 14 years I’ve gone I’ve noticed it’s gone from 30-50 people to hundreds outside the church.

The same in Leyland thankfully,  each year I've been there, there seems to be more and more people, especially youngsters.  That makes me happy knowing that they will ask why.

suppose we all have our way of dealing with things, mine have become patterns throughout the year, my wife knows and recognizes them , and i have little things in place to get through them.

It must be far harder for those of you that have served and lost friends,  hope the day goes well for you.

Lovely looking dog, was she on a line? I'd have thought you would be worried about the bear? I know I would be.

I've spent hours reading stuff on that site, a poster named 'cloverleaf' certainly knows his air rifles. :good:

Lots of new things for me to read 👍

It’s a good site, my 1st church. Many of the members on there have more than helped in my results. I just dither around on this site, Airgun’s seem too far over looked on here. So far this year for me it’s been, shotgun 127, Airgun’s 317, in pigeon kills.

Guess its because it's a mixed bunch on here?

Thanks mice just had a read and they're findings are are what I've heard some love them others don't.

All the tests I've seen they only work at fac speeds.  The best for opening out at face power were the Hungarian Skenco ultrashock hollow points.

I'll stick to standard diablo pellets in sub12.

I've just joined the forum,  liked what I was reading.

Golf Trolley would be no good i'm afraid ,Mice, have to negotiate a deep ditch followed by thick undergrowth to get to the Hopper - they cleared a path, of sorts, for me last year but no such luck this year. I, er, took a few extra Steroids in the morning - result on the mobility front.

Have word again and get them to to do some clearing for you before you trip, my old fella had a good method, take your kids and give them a machete,  what kid doesn't like hacking at things with a machete.

    Glad she's purring.

    An oldy, but a goody.

I asked my friend’s little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be Prime Minister some day. Both her parents, Labour supporters, were standing there, so I asked her, “If you were Prime Minister what would be the first thing you would do?”She replied, “I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.”Her parents beamed, and said, “Welcome to the Labour party!”“Wow…what a worthy goal!” I told her. I continued, “But you don’t have to wait until you’re Prime Minister to do that. You can come over to my house, mow the lawn, pull weeds, sweep my drive and I’ll pay you £25. Then I’ll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out. You can give him the £25 to use toward food.”She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, “Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work and you can just pay him the £25?”I smiled and said:"Welcome to the Conservative Party.”🤣

How dare you sir, work for cash in hand🤣🤣

    I do like it though.

Broken promises  lots of those. 200000 affordable homes promised and none have been built.

Where will the new voters land?

Since the referendum 1m voters have departed the UK and 2.6m new voters have entered the system.

Try and find somewhere where there aren't houses being built,  I've no idea whether there affordable but they are definitely building.

I'm of the belief she DID set out to lose.

That would make sense her campaign was so bad, Corbyn was promising unicorns that popped free money while she smiled and dithered.

There is also a growing feeling that a vote for Boris is a vote for Trump. That's a big threat to the Cons and they need to shift away from that position.

How is that a bad thing? Has Trump done well? Is the USA doing well?

35 minutes ago, Raja Clavata said:

manifesto built on Brexit and token promises (lies) on investment around police, NHS etc. isn't that attractive in the big scheme of things.

Really,  that sounds great, Labour are probably promising free everything for everyone.

What we need is a functioning government again,  sort out the Brexit mess, hit reset in parliament and get the country moving again.
