You sound like my late uncle.  It was his firm belief that, 'The w*gs start at Calais!' and he'd say as much to anyone at all. If he were alive today he'd have probably got himself locked up by this time.

He had heart of gold underneath it all though.

We were on Jersey last week, and listening to the old boy needle a French bloke was brilliant,  all done in jest while he fired his musket and cannon, make em av it 🤣🤣

    Amended for you.

So the 16+ who have not yet contributed anything get to decide how a lifetimes (for most working people) of taxes and NI contributions are spent - and those who made contributions all their lives get no say in how their lifetimes contributions are spent.  Brilliant thinking.

It seems obvious, 16 year olds don't realise how dangerous labour are, where as the old folk remember how dangerous they are, from first hand experience.

Am gonna miss it....first syndicate day! 😳 Shoddy planning on someones part!

I missed 2003, I was in a beaters waggon filled with Scots, I found out the result with a comment something like "those fatherless individuals have won "

Not this time,  it's a shame its it's so early, an afternoon kick off would have been a great afternoon out.

Boris apparently has the numbers for his bill. Why is he not bringing it forward?

Guessing because he doesn't want the extension, more interested in a GE, then he'll hopefully have a proper majority and be able to govern properly.

Let us not devalue the final just because the All Blacks are not in it. We stand a good chance of winning the Rugby World Cup 2019. We should rejoice in that.

Nothing to do with NZ not being in it, it was just such a good game, compare it with the bore fest that Wales South Africa was and it's a real shame that wasn't the final.

  6. I've just finished watching the game, can't believe Youngs try was disallowed??

But what a game, I thought Underhill was outstanding, but then pretty much everyone was, Sinclair shipping the ball on with soft hands instead of just battering it in, very clever.

They never stopped, constant work throughout.

Owen Farrell has been fantastic as Captain, hasn't lost his head and lead the team perfectly.

One game to go, such a shame that that wasn't the final.

But the withdrawal agreement is really nothing more than the seating arrangements for when the real talks start. Not that the seating will influence the outcome one iota. Future negotiations favour the EU because, surprise surprise, when it comes to trade negotiation the EU holds the whip hand  - and that's the reality of Brexit.

Is that fair? Quite possibly not. But nobody cares. That's just how it is.

Sounds spot on to me, we want to be in charge of our own laws, currency taxes bla bla bla....

When the real negotiations begin the EU is obviously bigger than us, but we can deal with whoever we like, and i still think others will follow.

Too many members of the EU that take but don't benefit the club.

  8. try watching it in the pub with 20 odd rugby league lads, that game was very poor, just no real running rugby to watch.

Two welsh fans in, the fella jumped up when they got the try, gave them hope, just not good enough.

    come on England.

  9. Didn't see all the game yesterday because we're on tour in Belfast, but from the start when England challenged the Haka I just thought YES we're up for this and it rattled NZ.

Todays game? Depends which Wales team turns up really, they haven't performed anything like they normally do, so today is the time to perform.

And you can't flatten Faf D, he just bounces and gets back up.

You have to be a brave man to say you can tell the difference between  a  Willow Tit and a Marsh Tit.

    They nest in different places.

    They have different song.

But I cant tell them apart !

    Anyone know how?

I've joined a Facebook group Willow tits north west, I get Marsh tits at the back of my house, or possibly Willow tits, there are a few places near me, seem to be where coal mining used to be that the Willow tits breed.

  11. Boris is on the news talking about an election, 12th of December.

Still can't see Labour going for it, or the SNP, where do we go when he can't force an election?

Talk of the government going on strike??
