  1. Google gmail and follow the link may not have understood your question exactly Check your zoom setting - you can change by holding CTRL and either use your mouse wheel or the + or - keys
  2. Bother! Nevermind - I'll still get the breeks and waistcoat if that's alright. Let me know if the coat comes off - would be very nice to have a matching set.
  3. Thanks for passing that on @blueeyes - if you could check how deep it is - think the SL5 is around 270 deep and RL5 would be 350mm approx
  4. I'll get the Schoffel stuff 1,2 and 4 please.
  5. After many years of wanting to finally got some funds squared away to make the jump to my firearms - so I need a cabinet that I can fit scoped rifles in - doesn't have to be especially fancy just something police secure and deep enough for two scoped rifles, 1 o/u, 12g pump and a 410 single. I'm in Newark but willing to travel for right one. Probably easier if you send on PM. Cheers all
  6. And the barrel band fitting is in a slightly different place from memory, it can be overcome with some faffing but generally you'd want the correct size stock
  7. Can I have second dibs if that doesn't work out - I'll drive down and get them 👍 Cheers
  8. I used them on the shed as a kid as they were the only thing I could reliably hit. I passed up on a ratcatcher gun for a gat and a BB gun. What a fool I was. I blame my father, he should have done what he knew was best 😂
  9. Well tonight has been interesting. I absolutely adore the grey partidge, since I began to get into birds and later fieldsports no other species has captured my imagination as they have. They are the litmus test for farming working with nature. I would never shoot a grey, our syndicate has them but there is probably 10 maybe 15 pairs and the farm and syndicate doesn't do enough to of the hard work it takes to bring the numbers to a harvestable surplus. I was lucky enough to be invited on a friend's shoot in a neighboring county, I didn't take a shot all day but someone rightly or wrongly I don't know had accounted for a brace of greys. At the end of the shoot stood around a modest bag. I sensed a hesitance by the other guns to pick up this pair, so embarrassed and conflicted I picked the birds and tonight prepared then for the table. It was a strange thing to prepare something I admire above all other wild things, it was part prep, part learning journey. They really have the most incredible plumage, they're more pretty than the best twitchett painting. They survive against incredible odds as young and as adults. Yet here they are as fair for the table. I will do my best to do them justice, however I hope they're the last I eat - actually I take that back. I hope that one day through better farming and management they are prevalent to the point that me harvesting a brace would have no bearing on my conscience. What do you guys think?
  10. I would be having a word to say do you think 60k is acceptable for these to fail - it's a bit embarrassing really. However the warranty is unlikely - but may be worth asking the dealership to ask Mitz if they are willing to cover it, I don't think that is unreasonable.
  11. Yeah there YouTube channel especially for deer and wildfowl is a treat
  12. I've had a Vango Banshee 200 for years and it's done probably 100+ nights and is still in good nick. Bit heavier than your desired weight mind. I just bivvy if I'm backpacking.
  13. Think I generally enjoyed this when I first listened to it - the guest I felt was a little misinformed about airguns but hey
  14. I don't own a centrefire but my deerstalking buddy brought his .308 T3x out - did the job on one youngster on the first night. Will go back out next week and try again if he's free - otherwise see if I can call within SG range maybe.
  15. Appreciate the advice, a bestfoxcall mouth call is on the way - I'll give that a go next week and see where we go from there
  16. Would be a bit of a trek to wales mind you! I wouldn't want to put you out of your way posting it!
  17. That's very kind and Newark on Trent
  18. My rabbit perm is overrun with foxes - this wouldn't particularly bother me but there are grey partridge on the ground. My deerstalking pal was happy to oblige but Im wondering if a caller could even the odds out? Happy to rent/buy maybe if close by - don't want to splosh loads! Cheers
  19. I'd suspect fuel delivery first - can you hear fuel pump when you turn ignition on? Given the low milage I would be inclined not to sell as a fixer upper but get it fixed at a local independent garage if tinkering isn't your thing - even just get them to diagnose it first so your outlay is limited. Otherwise it's just a 17 year old non runner! Probably nothing major that's thrown a wobbly
  20. I think the mitsubishi units are generally reliable (7 year warranty) however as for everything else we shall see fingers crossed. I do love the underfloor heating all of downstairs but I'm just glad we have it in a thermally efficient house. I don't yearn for harsh winters quite like before that's for sure!
