  1. We ended up doing 156 between us in the end, we used their 24g cart but and it's killed her shouldn't haha, as we brought a slab ill be using the left overs and will be getting a slab of hulls as figgy suggested for the next time.
  2. Yeah it was a choice between them or first selects, im sure she said 28g, which I thought would be a bit much, I think their own came at 21 and 24g Thanks for the info.
  3. As above, going to do a bit of clay bashing today, has anyone used any of high lodges own carts? Are they any good? Taking the missus and don't wanna use anything to punchy. Thanks all.
  4. Chris Potter guns ? Had them recommended to me on here last week, called them Friday and ordered a briley one in 1/2 for my A303 and it was here by sat morning.
  5. Treated myself to one from Potters today, thanks for the tip, really good company to deal with.
  6. Lol on the whole I do only use fibre, have got a few odd boxes of Plas, as long as the rains holds off I'll give one of each a go later Yeah fit is worth a thought but as far as I could tell it did fit me fairly well, + the subconscious thing did come to me to as I can't help but think 1/4 is too open.

Going by the few that are on gun trader it's worth a bit more than that, good luck with the search though.

How much are you looking to pay? I brought mine new last September/October time and it's had hardly any use, less than 100 carts or so.
  10. No, I'd say it was 30% kills to 70% misses. Gun fits me pretty well but no I haven't patterned it yet think I'll do that tonight, just didn't want to over choke it either.
  11. Appreciate everyones input! Think I'll go for half as a start, depends on how much they are and see how I get on. Thanks again all.
  12. Thanks for the reply, I think I will go for 1/2 as I know the vast majority of shots are sub 40/45 yards away, just don't seem to do that well with 1/4.
  13. What's everyone got there semi choked at? I've got a teague 1/4 extended choke in the A303 at the minute, was going to buy another at the weekend, wasn't sure whether to go for 1/2 or 3/4. Always think 1/4 seems too open for rough/ decoying? Any opinions welcome.
  14. I've been looking at them 3 shots too, probably wouldn't get a lot of use either but it's just one of them things I'd like in the cabinet. I do a bit on ferals indoors sometimes and the 9mm is perfect for it.
  15. I want a double barrel, was going to sell the webley after but with the condition its in and going on what I paid for it and the prices I've seen on guntrader I'd rather it stayed in the cabinet.
  16. Up until recently I've stuck with 30g 6 pigeon selects for everything, can get them a good price, they pattern well and do the job. Have tried a few other odd boxes lately, 29g 6 pigeon power being the best, ridiculously smooth through the A303, polar opposite being some 32g 5 jokers which punch like hell.
  17. Webley and scott bolt action 9mm... Absolutely love it.
  18. +1 By far the quickest and easiest way.
  19. 16 bore hammer Bosher special, Will try and add a pic when I'm home.
  20. Another +1 for Bosher he really is a top bloke. Had my sxs 16 bore hammer gun off him, love at first sight. I think my missus along with the bank balance are glad he's too far away for regular trips haha.
