  1. Still looking!!! sadly tightchokes one was for the wrong version. i am looking for a choke with the threads closest the muzzle if that makes sense....
  2. Hi all has anybody got a hatsan 1/2 extended choke they would part with?? cheers ZT
  3. I have had similar, i have been informed by two shooting buds who have shared hides that i am a little over the top. I cut branches out of hedges, foliage, roll round bales, two hide nets, sometimes i make a roof etc....have had days where pigeon have almost landed on the hide and other days where the first flick of movement as i stand to shoot they flair off. they are funny things, but all the more enthralling. i am so looking forward to getting back out doing some more decoying. this will be my second full season at it, and every time i go i learn something new.
  4. The wider tyres were just to help with leaving marks on the field margins etc. Lift kit was to add slightly more ground clearance to get over rougher patches on one bad bit of land i shoot over. Perhaps a set of better rough terrain/mud tyre would be better??? any thoughts on the best option. I would never be driving it more than 35 mins on normal roads. This looks perfect!!!!
  5. Morning all are there any jimny pros on here?? I am looking at buying at 2000 reg suzuki jimny and sticking a lift kit and some bigger tyres on it. mainly for something to keep me busy and secondly i need a decoying and shooting vehicle! my skoda cant take the beating or more like i am tired of trying to keep it clean.... cheers ZT

  9. Hi

  10. Good afternoon all Right The boss (her indoors) has finally broken, i have been given permission to get another hound. I have a working Cocker (he is 9) and am after another one. As we have just had a little boy my training time is going to be a little limited, so I am after a part trained dog. I live down in Cornwall but willing to travel to find the right dog. Preferably would be looking to pick it up mid summer, a dog would be preferred. Thanks for any help.. cheers ZT

  15. Great advice lads. I have found this 16 to be a touch front or barrel heavy in terms of Ballance. It's a straight hand stock presumably lighter stock?? Once I have the chokes, extended or not..??? I intend on getting it balanced perfectly...
  16. Evening all, does anybody have any experience of Briley chokes, I am think of getting some for a Browning 16 gauge over and under. It takes Invector chokes and i would probably get extended versions. I shoot game in the main. Any thoughts or experience of them?? cheers ZT
