  1. Looking for one, drop me a PM if you wanting to move one on, Thanks!
  2. Once on a gun I tend to leave a mod in place and consider it part of the gun from then on, only with my Stealth do I remove it but that's a brake down gun, but agree best not to over work a thread if you can.
  3. Sounds good I think I will make a mod so I can put it strait on the stripper thread.
  4. Did you use and adaptor or find a mod that fits on the air stripper threads?
  5. I agree and for that he needs his ear bent if that dose not work then its officers of the law all the way.
  6. No its fine, I know you were not suggesting anything untoward , the thing I was trying to get across was why a mod needs declaring, or maybe I should put it why dose the law need this declared? why do those that make the law require this, what makes this combination need regulation? how dose it become more dangerous? Your right if someone wants to break the law they wont care, so if that's true and laws are to control i guess in a basic way things that are of power or powerful what is it about the simple suppression of sound that needs a law?

    1-4x24 scopes

Agree compact and simple, its a good criteria for any gun if you ask me! not had much time with powder burner's but the ethos of heavy impact over short range is not lost on me, hansom gun and looks like you have some good eating there.
  8. The gun would be the lethal side of my point the low detection the mod, a combination that can become worrying to some, put it on a rimmi it needs declaring same kind of thing on a sub12 air rifle no so but the potency differs hence the law being different, air on the side of caution it maybe fine but If you own both and its not declared a problem comes into play if used on a rimmi before your ownership it would have powder residue and even if its on an air rifle if ever inspected and the residue detected it would suggest use and I'm sure you get the gravity of how that may play out for you.
  9. Cracking! find a good mod for it?
  10. Being on the other end of things even thou I have not stepped out side of the law on air guns having the police turn up due to neighbours worry's about me shooting in my own garden in the correct manner, I find galling and don't respect that kind of approach they could of come round and spoke with me, like the lass over the back she said she did not like the idea of it but I did say I had been shooting on my own property's for 40 years and was not ending the practice any time soon, the noise of the pellets hitting the back plate was the main issue for her and because she was fair and forward about it I added more padding to the back plate dropping the sound down even more so, she has said nothing more. Every time the police are called it only adds to a negative tally, it is are right to shoot and own these fab little guns and I loth the idea that, that can be taken because a few worry about are ownership or those that use them in a foolish way.

Muchly!, I'll put that down as a contender.
  13. Ah well! he's rather good, guess I'll have to make one!
  14. Lethal and low detection I can think of some that may worry about that.
  15. I was thinking about one in .25 myself but then I went back and they had a .25 stealth in the rack.....ooowwww space gun!.....sold!
  16. Well as titled I'm looking into having one as part of maybe my stealth set up I'm leaning towards the Nikko Stirling 1-4x24 diamond or boar eater, Target master maybe, any thing likewise you gents could recommend? or have any of you have/had said scopes?
  17. Worth a try there mainly just chambers in a tube.
  18. Ditchman that's a nice sling would love one for my supersport, who makes it?
  19. Nice one James best thing to do, surely things are better by being forward, if there of the right character they would respect you, if they take it poorly they will know your not one to fool with.
  20. I always liked the simple lines of all the early and mid model BSA's
  21. Your most welcome! I'm sure at some going your find a local smith, thou I guess there not as common as they used to be.
  22. I don't know how local you are but if your truly stuck and local to Somerset I can do a tune and fit internals.
  23. Looking at the diagram's there seems to be like a pre-tube maybe pre-loading the main tube so as to better use the volume? it dose not look like the standard type of pump system I have seen before hence my thinking it works more than one way. ....could be wrong thou!
