The best time for shooting pigeons is when there is a lot of em about. The worst time is when you dont see any. And with all these acorns and beech nuts and ivy berrys is getting difficult at the moment over here.

I have been to a few different shoots this season here goes. Notice how you can get 5 days beating a week but only 2 days loading every 8 weeks ( ****** that anit it )

For game shooting this season i have changed to Eley VIP 30g pdp wad 6 shot from hull cartridge high pheasent after 8 years. So far after about 6 days pheasent shooting and one partridge day they seem ok to me i had some nice high ones but a few runners as well last weekend, but i think my fault not the cartridges. For pigeons Kent Velocity ( Gamebore ) 32g 6 shot plas. cheep and very good its a Clear Pigeon in a different box with different writing on the case that make it cheaper. I also have shot RC Sipe 32g 5 shot plas wads for two years now, when I need them for both the above and **** i never shot a game shell that good before, but Sterlings are close behind I think and alot more money.

Fair enough and your right every one makes mistakes but these gun shops today give or take a few will sell you anything if you dont know what you need. they will even sell ya a left hander if you cant tell the difference because they cannot. lucky for me, i had a few years in the guntrade, but still bump into newcomers quite regularly that have been led astray. But you are correct in saying if they will correct their mistake without you sucking the second hand price on the chop then they are providing you the correct service and long may it continue. But on return i would still ask him if he can tell the difference between a goose and a pigeon or the member of staff that you delt with just so they get the message. And i also think the Beretta is a good move.

Shootings next maties its just a matter of time. the countrys full of winkers and do gooders shirtlifters and foreigners and big ears is right ( prince charles ) every bodys gone a be a pop star. And you dont need to learn to sing or spend five or ten years on the stage pubs and clubs first learning the trade cause every ****** is listening to the radio 1, etc and watching top of the pops. well. Wegu pads are great for mount but they only reduce about 15% i think they are the best. you could try painting your kickeez with clear nail varnish doen on side and back or insulation tape or a laquer for rubber. this is a big problem with recoil pads gueys,pacmar, will reduce by 30% but they anit no good for real shooting go and watch the ISU skeet boys they will show you a thing or two about recoil pads. some whiteline pads are ok but make sure the pad is not curved to the shoulder and that the top leading edge is rounded off and also the toe at the bottom. Wegu international pad but you still need the toe rounded off at the bottom. try Gordon at Tony Kennedys at Bisley shooting ground or kingstone wholesale in devon.

I still have the gun but sorry cannot go to RFD as i work all week and shoot all weekend, and i have to sell the gun to him and then he sells it to you etc lot of messing about for a few quid. Also i will have to ask him if he would do it and he,is very busy, but there is a gunsmith near me who might be able to do the same thing. What area do you live in please.
