At what age do you stop walking the birds back into the pen and start spreading the feeders about?

My top hats get hammered and require filling up each day.. Mine are on wheat at 14 weeks

What do you all use to mix with the wheat to help keep birds even more, I hear that you can get a aniseed mix. Where do you get this from?

Keep the door seal clean and always leave the door open when not in use. We also run it once a month empty on a boil Jamie

4 days in and birds are looking good, 2 more days then back to water! Last bags of pellets going in the feeders tomorrow. Most birds seem happy in the wheat and having to fill them up daily

you wouldn't believe it, mine have been out around the pens after the first two weeks we had them, the monkeys were flying well! But due to the rain today there all over the estate seeking sun, talk about timing when i wanted them around the pens to drink the medicated water. Only time will tell now on how they all do and what kind of a season we will have

Yes put 1/2 tonne if medicated down when I first had the birds. How many roughly do you put down and what age are they

I bought an opinel last month and today i got some worming liquid on it, so when i got home i washed it with water and left it to dry on the sink. Two hours later i go in and its covered in patches of rust! I have tried to scrubb it off but it has left dark marks on the blade... I really didn't think it would rust that fast and how on earth do i get the blade back to its former shiny self?? cheers jamie

How is everyone doing? Mine were coming on well and was just getting them switched over to wheat when today i noticed the symptoms of gape in two pens So had to change some plans and get to the vet and have now treated all water in all of the pens with or without symptoms.. Hopefully i caught it quickly and whilst most are still in or around the pens

should be allowed and then they should be allowed to whack there baton across there filthy mouths
