I value every opinion from young and old, learned and not so learned as long as they are sincere. Everyone deserves the right to their opinion - in some countries they don't have that right. We are lucky - we do :thumbs:

I will go further and even value the opinion of those who are not sincere providing it is in the cause of adding humor to an otherwise sad world.

seriously though , i dont know him other than here , but can respect his obvious knowledge and understanding of our sport ,and i have enjoyed his, dare i say, "company " on PW , bring it O.R. :thumbs:

He should stay! regardless if what he says or feels he says may upset people , it is after all a free country and we still are supposed to value input and opinion, would be a very dull world (and controlled) if we all thought the same, and didnt allow free thought, plus of course difference of opinion may just make one think!

I found that O/R's post were always very infromative and interesting and needless to say unoffensive, and enjoyable to read.

 

However; the old lads made his decision, and I for one believe that should be respected.

I agree.

 

I have always regarded him as a solid member of this forum and will miss his input. However, we cannot force him to return, that is a choice he must make alone.

 

If we respect him for the man he is, we must also respect his wish to leave. Shame really but.....Ce La Vie.

Not bad Axe, it's C'est la vie.

 

I reckon that Old Rooster provided sensible if what strong points of view. His comments were always posted in the correct manner and in the correct sections of the forum.

 

I do not want to see him pack it all in, but he may have thought long and hard about it and, as he said himself, thought he was becoming bitter after reading his last ten posts.
