ryantidgwell
ended up going to see paul at pr guns today to see if i could swap my semi for somthing spent nearly two hours in there and ended up coming out with two guns (should not have took the mrs ) lol ended up with a Sabatti 12 g o/u SST and a 12 g sable side by side always fancied a side by side so now i have one , think it may have been chopped at one point as its got 26 " barrel but with skeet and half barrels should be a good pigeon gun for decoying just need to get and use them both now
fieldwanderer
I'm like that - I call the gunshop the toyshop (everyone I know knows what I mean ) I'm like a kid in a toyshop every time, never seem to leave empty handed
casts_by_fly
ryan, where is PR guns? Fieldwanderer, Where is a good toy shop around lincoln? We're coming down for the Christmas market tomorrow and I never get down that way. So I'm going to find a good shop between here (East Yorks) and there. Thanks, Rick

lasbrisas
All my guns cost under £100 or at least that's what the missus thinks !
humperdingle
All my guns cost under £100 or at least that's what the missus thinks ! Lol yeh that's a good rule of thumb! After selling a few bits and pieces, I bought a Beretta 391 Urika. After the missus needling me to find out how much it was, I said £1400. I picked her jaw up off the kitchen floor and said "Naw, it was only £500 really" Managing expectations... She now thinks I got a bargain! Thanks, Rick personally, I don't think you can beat forest lodge guns out at wragby, it's a little bit out of lincoln 20 mins drive at a guess. From the top of lincoln (where the market is), find wragby road, it's paralell to the road the hospital's on and there's a tesco's on it. head out of lincoln and keep going, speed camera on the way out - then straight over the roundabout and follow that road (signposted skegness and wragby, a156 iirc) when you get to wragby you'll reach a smallish roundabout where you can either go left or right; go left and the shop is about 50yds up on the right hand side. They're open until 8pm all week iirc.
mattslaptop247
Paul at PR Arms is a top bloke. I get nearly all my guns from there. I am always swapping things about as he would probably tell you himself. I bought a nice astra sidelock off him a fortnight ago, and a belgian sxs. I think the sabel you bought might have been the one I traded in!

Steve29
Would just like to add that Paul is a top bloke My mate and I went a couple of weeks ago and he picked up a lovely AYA sxs non-ejector for a bargain price. We pop in every now and again to see what he's got in stock. Wish all 'toy'shops were as welcoming!

welshwarrior
I always went for around £200 until the wife found the bill for my No2 she started going nuts so I showed her that I did get a good deal, compared to a brand new 1 on ASI website!!!!!!! She is now happy as she know I got a bargin

jackinbox99
lol, i always point out to the missus how much of a bargin ive had then she`s happy. Either that, or just not tell her the true amount it cost. Still, on the other hand, women are just as bad. My missus has about a million pairs of shoes, and yet never has any to match the outfit she wants to wear - so has to go out and buy some more. Fairly typical I think! geordieh
Hi Ryan If it still has half choke in one barrel i doubt very much it has been chopped as cutting anything off the end you would lose your choke Cheers Geordie
