shot shot
Did they really need a crane that big for that lil quad the crane lifted it off of the tracks from a nearby road I believe beside, you ever tried manhandling a quad up a grassy bank, trust me, its awkward

Alanl50
I lost my job a year and a half ago, due to some American slimey little twit's fiance wanting to tour Europe (the full story is much, much longer by not for here).I held off claiming Unemployment benefit for 6 months, living on my savings and the hope that I would find another job soon. Eventually I had to claim. I received less in 6 months of claiming than I paid in 2 weeks while working, then I was shut off. I then received nothing. I have gone for another 6 months of receiving nothing. Thankfully my wife has a job, but doesn't bring in much. We live with her mother rent free as we can't afford our own place. I have just managed to get a job stacking shelves during the night. The money I make just covers the costs of putting our lad in nursery (just having me for company isn't doing his 'growth' any good). Our post box is full of threats of legal action from debt collectors every day. My phone is called by them several times a day, every day. I HAVE NEVER GONE OUT AND STOLEN A BLOODY THING! Can I cast the first stone? Edit: Guess what I gave my wife for our fifth wedding anniversary today? A kiss. Nothing else. Oh and I'm back at work tonight too. Just call me Sactimonious. Your a top man mate I sincerely hope your life gets better and if your ever in suffolk your welcome to my house Alan

Alpha Mule
There's a first! I get on my soapbox for a rant and end up getting a pat on the back. I wasn't looking for it, but thanks anyway. A good mate brought something else to mind. He's a 'firefighter' and has had to attend many RTAs and said that he attended one so bad about 15 years ago that he still has nightmares about. So these lads not only paid the ultimate price themselves, but the train driver, firemen, ambulancemen, crane driver, medics and probably loads of others, all have to deal with their stupidity. njc110381
That's the only thing that makes this so tragic. It's not the dipsticks on the quad that matter, it's everyone else that's had to play a part in it

Lord Geordie
Sad as it may be for their families I have no Sympathy at all for the theiving lowlifes! I feel for their loved ones that are greiving but if they were home at the time not commiting crime then they would still be alive. Personally mylsef I would like to see the Jails emptied of Murderers peado's etc send them all to the gallows and free spaces inside for Theives etc. ALL crimes such as Burglary Arson Mugging Theft of a motor vehicle shoplifting etc should carry a prison sentence mandatory 5 years As a Nation we send out the wrong signals. Apparently crime DOES pay and until we deal with Criminals in a FITTING manner then it will carry on.
MPT1
LG Unforunately I don't believe it possible to get every criminal to ride a quad down a rail track.
