Went to Kingsley Moor today and shot like a *** :good:

Saw DSPUK , Ron and Claybuster there

Decent shoot, scores on the doors :

DSPUK - 85 Well shot Dave, good score :)

Mr Potter - 80 Tidyish stuff chap

Timps - 76 Joint 2nd in B Class when we left

Chard - 75 **** off

Not sure what Ron and Claybuster got.

Sounds like Ron is finally quitting shooting, which is a shame.

He's in for another op soon and Doc has said he's got to knock it on the head (and the shooting).

Good luck with the op, chap :good:

Hiya Bigweed - I shot my best ever skeet score at Kingsferry today, first ever 50 & 75 straight for a 99, chuffed to bits after such an atrocious time at the British Open.

My first time there but I'll be back :good:

Well done - another name to a face.

I saw you do it - station 4 on the last round let you down - right !!

I shot a 46/60 at the annual shoot of the Essex Joint Council of Wildfowling Clubs, I was not too unhappy with that although still the odd 1's and 2's missed on stands ******** me up.

300 watt Bob pipped me with a 47/60 and the shoot was won with a 56/60 which was some fine shooting.

Just got back from a great day out at Hepworth Hall, met Mr Digweed , saw him shoot (OMG can he shoot), had a go at 50 clays myself hit more than I missed, then got to play in a Range rover on a wet hilly slippery track, tried to get it stuck in the mud to no avail, even though we only had road tyres on it. And a nice salad dinner to finish off with.

the only down side of the day was the dirty carts they gave us to use (green 24g claybusters) , had to clean my gun properly once I got home .

Shot 77ex100 on the Skeet doubles this afternoon and 83ex100 English skeet this morning at NSG @ Sywell.

Bloody windy, wet at times but the 83 is a new Reg'd PB so happy overall ???

Need to shoot better than that on Tues for the club shoot off to see who moves from A to AA and shoots for club champion.

74/100 at Longridge today for me. A very diverse mix of targets with some nice rangey intermingled; Chard would have loved it :good:

Very enjoyable day out; beautiful ground/setting, pleasant and friendly staff and glorious sunshine :hmm:

Well worth the trip out and will definitely be on the calendar again :good:

:hmm: Rangey stuff, eh? We'll have to give that a go.

Good day out at the Promatic beanfeast at Kegworth today. Very good shoot, if you like loopers

Scores on the doors :

Azzurri - 87 Fantastic shooting again, chap ;)

Mr Potter - 81 :good: Good stuff

Chard - 75 :hmm: better than yesterday, at least.

Timps - 75 :good: Copycat

Anni 55 :hmm: Not a looper fan :o

I had a really duff start, then started shooting a lot better but the damage was done.

I hit some stonking difficult stuff, but missed too many bread and butter clays :good:

Had a nice chat with Azzurri, top bloke. That's what I like about clay shooting, everybody seems to know everybody :good:
