Yeah, they weren't exactly 'switched on' were they?

Still, at least you scored with the fat lass scoring the first stand :good:

Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhh. Still got it!

EDIT: Shhhhhh, we're de-railing the "How well did the northern lot shoot today" thread.

Hey, it was tricky...there were loud noises, lots of sun and fun and stuff. You don't know what's it's like down here.

:good:

Dour northerner here,

I understand "loud noises", I've seen "lots of sun" on the television, I even vaguely can visualise "stuff" but what is this "fun" you talk about? that one has got me completely bamboozled.

:good: Actually managed to get out and do a few clays today, first time for ages!!

Did a very hot and windswept jj's with Bagsey and DangerousDave.they have had a good change around down there with some ointeresting "diferent" new targets

Im still shooting rubbish but had a reasonable card up until the last stand, stand 1, DD hit...1 bagsey hit 5 i hit 4!!! So we consequently finished on:

Me 64

Bagsey 63

DD 55

What amazed me more was 175 carts for second place in B Class!

Beretta World results are published on the website now

Me and Anni came joint 274th out of 875 :lol:

It doesn't make me want to rush off and bang one out, but I suppose it could have been worse

Hats off to Beretta  He was either 5th or 6th overall, I can't work it out it's so complicated

 I'm confused, as i see it there are two on 114 and one on 113, then B on 110, but first second and third are 114 112 110

can some one explain

how can one guy win it when two other people have the same score

It was a 3 day comp and the 2 highest scorers on each day (6 people) have to have a shoot-off.

B didn't make it to the shoot-off, because he was 3rd on the first day.

The top 3 from the shoot-off (Faulds, Hart and Lee) get the big prizes. They don't show in the main score lists for some reason.

The other 3 from the shoot-off just go back into the main score list.

B is 4th in the main score list. The top three from the shoot-off scored 114, 112 and 110, so two of them beat B and the other equalled his score.

Add those to the three that are above him in the main score list and you lose the ******* will to live

I think it's done like this, because weather conditions could be very different on the three days and this is supposed to ensure that the biggest scorers on each day

get a crack at top slot, irrespective of weather conditions. I reckon this system is a long way from perfect

top 2 scores from each day go through to final shoot off on 30 bird.

this decides the winner, runner up and third place. but not added to the scores from the main 120 shoot.

the remaining 3 people (3 day shoot so 6 people) go back into there classes.

if fridays scores were , eg. 114 & 112

sats were 107 & 106

suns were 118 & 117

after the final shoot off the winner could be any of the above but the results only show the score they got on the 120 shoot.

it could end up with the winner getting 107, runner up getting 117 and third 112.
