Billy.
PS3 all the way. I just sold my 360 as it's useless in comparison. Oh and if you want to play online with the 360, you'll have to pay £50 a year for the privilege.... It's free for the PS3
cr4cki3
xbox are oki but you still have to pay to play online and compared to the ps3 they lack so much , so for me it has to be the ps3 LuNacr4cki3 <<< add me if you get the ps3
stubby
x box all the way, yes you pay for online, buts theres more there so many of my mates, sold their xbox's to buy ps3's only to buy another xbox a few months later
bg55599
xbox 100% i have both, even with the ps3 in HD and the Xbox in normal the xbox wins hands down
burntout
XBOX all the way - and it's only £27 a year if you get it from the right place. I regularly play both and have a box and the xbox wins hands down. Get COD6 and Forza 3 plus a mic and you'll see what I mean. Breastman
Unless you're a sociopath online gaming is the way forward and it is MUCH better on the Xbox. My Gold subsciption to Xbox live was £17.99 from Play.com last year. Mark
TheDarkPassenger
Both great machines, neither will disappoint. PS3 for me, as I object to paying for the subscription. If you have films/music on a pc, with the right software, these can be streamed to the PS3 over your home network. In fairness, the xbox can stream films/music too, it's just more of a palaver unless you're using all microsoft stuff. HTH.

Budice
Just got free slimline PS3 on an upgrade for my phone at Carphone Warehouse who also did it on a cheaper tariff as well than my previous one. HTH

jonno 357
Not sure if you have read ALL the other "which is best " or "What shall I get" posts relating to PS3 and xbox but it usually comes down to 2 underlying factors 1 If all your mates have xbox why buy PS3 2 If all your mates have PS3 why buy Xbox They are both very good console and when used inconjuction with 46" 1080P LCD TV and a NEF amp and speakers you will be very impressed with both
George1990
PS3. Simply because I have always had them and they are well good innit, and the controller wasn't designed by someone with hands affected by cerebral palsy.
